It all depends if you are patient and firm. I have never paid more than 200, 000 at LDV or Elektra, even for TLN. Beach action can be had for 100, 000 and the SWs in Laquito for 50, 000. Heck I have even had SW for 25, 000.

Just go and relax and let thiongs just happen. You will have agood time. Too bad I will not be in Cartagena for another six months because I would enjoy showing you the city. Just don't fall in love and marry a Colombiana.

But to re-open as 'Opera', is the word on the street. Don't know when, although probably by August.

Can anybody give me a suggestion for an apartment rental agency in Cartagena?

You'll be pleased to know, or maybe I'm the only one that cares, that Elektra is re-opened as of Thursday night. A pretty good crowd too considering it's been closed for a while.

I find Cartagena is one of the hardest citys in Colombia to find a so called regular date internet girl, mainly because its flooded with sex tourists. Hahahaha, sorry I did not mean to depress you or turn you off. Cartagena is a solid tourist destination and there is action. The 400K I quoted was with bar fines. At LDV you can get TLN for 200K to 300K (they usually start at 300, will go down to 200 or 150).

There are girls on the street but few have ever really tempted. Amigos have amigas, too. I woudn't sweat it too much, I just think there are much better places for mongering and all of them are in the interior.

But CTG is worth seeing, a day or two, you can easily shoot to santa marta from there. Parque tayrona is awesome, many ex pats there. Some action, very reasonably priced if you stay patient, not the hotness / selection of bigger cities but does have good service.

I m sorry to tell you this man but I was there This past may and there is no bar fine at LDV. And the most I pay for a girl from there was 150k for TLN true they do start at 200k-300k but the ones that start it at 300k I just told them that I wasn't interest and move on there is lots of 7-10 at this bar so don't waste your time with the ones that have been spoil by people that think they are going to get a better service by paying 2x the going rate.

I don't believe the OP indicated that LDV charged a bar fine, but in those places that did the going rate was up to 400 mil including the fine. The way I read what he posted, you and he are pretty much in agreement as to the going rate at LDV.

IMO, just a matter of how one interprets what another wrote. My money says the Wilt guy wasn't trying to convey that LDV charged a bar fine.

Now that I take a 2nd look at it I see it. I m sorry the other day I just took a fast glance at it and assume right away that he was talking about LDV having a bar fine. I look at this page at 3 in the morning when I get out of work it happens. Thanks for the correction Hilltopper.

I am in Cartagena for the next two weeks. I would like to meet some new buddies to hangout in Old Town, at Bars, clubs etc.
