I need your help / some info.

Panama Casino Questions.

Whats the best casino to gamble?

What are the minimum bets at the roulette table? What #'s / strategy did you find that was lucky or not so lucky.

Do you tip after a winning money? If so, how much is reasonable.

Is there sports gambling betting? I'm looking to bet on NFL games if possible.

Is it easy to offer casino chips to women vs money.

I'm staying at the Hyatt in Panama soon. Is there a place nearby where I can go swimming and use a hot tub or Jacuzzi?

And that's if you come in a taxi or they think you'll pay that much without arguing. Dickhead is right, Golden Time opens at 7:30 PM, unless they've changed recently. It's not close to Habano's though. One thing I'll say about Golden Time, if you want to get laid early in the evening and are willing to chance a mechanical lay with a good looking woman, it's a damn good choice. Most of the women will be there then, unlike Habano's, the Veneto, Miami, Elite and Le Palace, where as Vegas says the action starts later on.

There are other places, open during daytime, where you can get laid for substantially less than at Golden Time. One is Hawaii Massage. The times I went there I paid $60, and there were four or five dogs and one, possibly two hotties. There are other massage parlors that operate similarly.

Then there are a couple of places in Casco Viejo, the old part of the city, that are open during daytime. I've never been but they're dirt cheap and have been reported on extensively here.

There are sports books in the Bingo Halls and Most of the casinos. Most are nice and you won't have a problem finding one.

Any Pharmacy in panama will have "sex pills". Try not to buy them at the Pharmacy next to the Veneto. I think its called " Greens" They are expensive compared toother places around town. Not sure if they have Kamagra.

Most girls will take Casino Chips although they much prefer cash and a few may either up charge you if you give them chips, not accept them, or ask you for taxi money in addition to the chips so they can get to the casino to change them out.

Every single girl has Whatsapp.

There is a reggae club on Calle Uruguay.

Not sure if the Hyatt has a hot tub / pool. You can ask the hotel desk where a pool hot tub is.

Your other questions about how much you bet, tip etc should be common sense and is an individual decision to make.

I saw Anthony Bourdain's episode where he visited Barrio Chino in Panama City. Since I am a Chino, I would be interested in checking the place out. But then I saw another video on YouTube where these guys drove through neighbourhoods at night including Barrio Chino and it looked pretty deserted and scary after dark. Is Barrio Chino in a safe area at all and is it far from the recommended areas for us to stay in?

It's a stone's throw from the fish market. No hotels around there though. I'm not sure what kind of "tourist destination" it is.

The more interesting chinatown may be in El Dorado, near Golden Time. There is a chinese casino.

This is really concerning. I have a trip fully booked for next week. I have a non-felony conviction from many years ago related to a fake ID and possession of alcohol when I was a teenager (but legally an adult).

Does anyone have any updates to this situation?

About 30 percent of All american men are convicted, plead guilty, or plea bargain to some sort of crime by the age 35.

Granted a lot of these are Something very minor like driving on a suspended license or marijuana posesion but, its really a huge number and for a country like Panama to keep out 1/3 of all American men when they are trying to promote tourism and establish themselves as a world leader for Commerce and banking is a huge number.

Also, trying to find out from the Panamanian embassy / consulate what crimes constitute denied entry is next to impossible. You would think they would widely publish the information to avoid John Doe tourist from wasting time and money coming down only to be turned away but they do not. Other countries (ie: Canada) do not either.

Sorry I am not trying to turn this into a Legal discussion but, if this new policy by Panama holds true and they continue to enforce it this issue will impact a lot of people on this site.[/QUOTE]

They have well choreographed stage shows and usually at least a few hotties. The price for take out is ridiculous unless your date is consuming extremely large amounts of alcohol. You have to buy her $100+ worth of drinks before they'll let her leave, and then she's going to want another $200 or $300. You can line up visits outside the club at more economical prices, but need to be careful as if the club catches the girl freelancing or giving out her phone number they'll fire her.

This is actually not a bad place to hang out, especially if you're an alcoholic. You can drink all you want for one low price and, again, the shows are kind of entertaining.

I am not confusing the two places. I am just confusing the two locations. Been a few years since I have been to either but the thing about all you can drink sticks in my mind!

Just an FYI. Mexico is beginning to implement the same rules when flying in.

The issue is, no one really knows what crimes constitute denied entry. They won't tell you even if you knew who to ask. Again however, I am very confident you will not be denied with such minor offenses.

First time poster.

I'm stopping by PTY for 3 nights and looking for advice.

Looking to source quality company over quantity.

I don't mind spending extra money if it means better safety for this solo gringo, and creates more options with English speaking girls.

I speak next to no Spanish yet and haven't travelled in Latin America.

Researching other posts here, I'll likely stay at Hyatt Place, and visit Cabanas and Veneto, and maybe hire Mario the guide for a day.

People go out to dinner later in the evening there.

As to Casco Viejo during the evening, if you stay in the tourist / gentrified area and don't wander into a rough neighborhood you should be fine. I wouldn't feel comfortable there on foot after everything closes though.

Respectfully, I think you may be over-planning this, considering you're looking at a potential 7 hour layover nine months from now.
