Has anyone been to this new pan-Asian restaurant and lounge? What are its seduction credentials? :)

I was there with a girlfriend, we were in the restaurant (quite expensive) and then went to the bar. I did not check the potentials closely because I was with a girl, but i guess if you dress well and can get alongside the better people in Kiev, the possibilities are good:). I have no idea whether there are working girls there.

Seduction credentials require you to be smartly dressed and ready to spend serious money, chances of a freebie? About the same as Obama solving the financial crisis.

Was there for a few hours on Saturday night and it was packed since it was VD (Valentines Day). It's younger crowd (which should be right up your alley Skank) but the girls are super cute.

I met some expats who told me that the real night to go is Wednesday night. Apparently, it's ladies night and until midnight the booze is free for girls. Need I say more?

It's easy to get to by metro. Get on at Khrushatyk and go one stop to Arsenalna. Come out of the Metro and walk STRAIGHT out the door and you are looking at Moscovskaya. Don't go left or right, just take the perehod and walk about ten minutes past some semi industrial buildings and it is on your right at #22. The first 5 minutes walk will freak you out a little as it's a bit dark but the street was deserted until I got to Shooters.

Like I said, I was there for a while and it was packed. No room to maneuver. The expats I met said that it's normally MUCH better and that Wednesday night is just around as close to guaranteed as you can get. I left after a while feeling like the lone geriatric so I bailed early and went to RP. It was my last night in Kiev and I had put "Leggs the Realtor" back on the 21:30 train to Moscow after a dirty weekend.

[/QUOTE]Thanks for your enthusiasm Jake, I am psyched for Shooters. Been there more than a dozen times and admit that it is a great place for a drink up, even though I've only scored there rarely. I generally make the expat mistake and meet friends whom I haven't seen for a while or am showing around there. I get chatting and drinking with the boys and by 3am I am drunk and haven't even spoken to a girl besides the barmaid.... :) Then again, drunk at 3am is a pretty good start!

But yeah, Shooters is my style. I love debauched drinking holes with slutty chicks... Shooters is definitely the place to be on Wednesday and Sunday nights. Thursday nights are good at PaTiPa. Monday and Tuesday are always a challenge but if you drop into Shooters there's always SOMETHING going on.
