After arriving in BKK, I first wanted to try out Line and ThaiFriendly. A bit disappointed in Line so far, but have to be fair also, it is still early.

It is supposed to be there, but my Line app looks different from any screenshot online. Where some Line apps have a menu option 'More' at the bottom of the screen (behind which the Nearby function should be located), this Line app has the option 'Wallet' which is something different entirely. And yes, I have updated the pp to the most recent version. Any ideas?

For ThaiFriendly, I did the same. With my Thai phone number I created an account, uploaded a picture and liked some ladies. I was in Globe, Zurich this past September, and if I recall correctly I paid 90 CHF to enter and 140 CHF per session. I had 2 sessions that day, hence my total cost was 185 CHF per session. That's over 5 K baths, a far cry from 1,500 bahts.

I went to Thermae about 5 times. I don't like it very much but they like me quite a bit. When I showed interest in what I considered the top beauty she flushed and was proud of my interest. I for one was not interested in the perceived service level that I would get.

At Lefeu.

In Tilac for example you may have to pay 2000 baht barfine and at least 3000 short time. You have to treat her a few drinks. That will lift you way above the 5000 baht. In Globe you get food and quite some drinks for free. So why add it to the price for the girl each and every time and forget about the drinks in Thailand. Next to that, in a first session with a girl in Thailand she will try to limit the time to 20 minutes. In Globe she cannot do that. But I do think that Globe is too expensive and overrated.

I would say the chances of a better looking than most Thermae girl actually quoting 2,000 baht as an opening number in a negotiation these days is very low, perhaps only if it is her very first day in Bangkok from an outlying province and her first hour in Thermae.

3,000 baht as the opening quote for all but the older, chubbier or more plain looking girls in the place is far more likely and it's been that way for at least a year or two. Yes, many will quickly drop to 2,500 baht if the customer does nothing more than hesitate a nanosecond to accept the quote or appears to be taking a step away from the girl and the negotiation. And I believe negotiating to 2,000 baht is still possible with some of the better looking girls in Thermae if some conditions are right for it; the time of night, day of the month, customer competition, your level of game, presentability, etc.

So, as far as the "going rate" is concerned, I might not be so quick to say 3,000 baht is the new going rate in Thermae. But it is certainly a common starting point for the better looking girls there, imo and in my experience.
