If it is the former, I can only say sometimes you come to a conclusion about whether or not the girl is worth barfining the instant she sits next to you. The latter, buying many lady drinks and not taking out, can still very well mean that the guy has a good time. This for me is not determined solely by the taking out part.

Of course all you describe can well happen. I just saw a bit too often that neither guy nor girl were making any initiative to start anything, let alone small talk. Both have a bit of a moral obligation to make contact at the least. After that it is the job of the girl to make him happy, but with dud guys she can not work any more than we like to handle a dud girl. And he is throwing away money and not in the good way (1 or 2 LD's is not that much, on a second thought, but still wasted money in this situation IMHO).

The "Arab's" bars actually belong to an Iranian. There are rumours that the bars cannot possibly make any money and are for money laundering purposes only. This from persons who have been working in the Soi for years and hear all the gossip and inside info. Otherwise they would have all closed down.

Bars in Soi Cowboy (not a location problem): Kiss, Sahara, Rio, Deja Vu, Midnight, Spice Girls, and I probably / maybe forgot one.

Supposedly the girls that work there are not available for sex (officially), so even if you barfined them, does not mean you would get a fuck. They have Coyotes and maybe Gogo girls. You can entertain girls and buy drinks for them. Will work out expensive with almost zero benefits other than a fun time for guys with plenty of money.
