Some great reports here, I've never been to Colombo before and was after some advice.

I've visited Thailand and Philippines quite a bit, and accept the fact that mongering in SL will be a bit different.

I'm going to be staying at the Cinnamon for 3 nights, this Saturday to Tuesday, and don't want to waste too much time searching for women, I'm just looking for your pointers on 3 or 4 quality venues (or freelancers) along with addresses and contact details.

If by "safe" you mean is there any danger that your credit card data might be stolen, then I can tell you that both the shopping cart service and the credit card service I use to process the credit card transactions are both conducted on secure, encrypted websites, so your credit card information is secure.

If by "safe" you mean is there any danger that your credit card statement will show that you've purchased a membership to this forum, then I can tell you that the credit card charge will be made under another name (which I won't write here because I don't want it being found by search engines) that looks like it's a contribution to a charity.

If by "safe" you mean is there any danger that a law enforcement agency might force me to divulge your forum username, then the answer is no because I delete the shopping cart transaction data every few days, and that's the only connection between your credit card charge and your username. In other words, the credit card charge doesn't include your username, only the shopping cart database has this info, and I have total control over the shopping cart's database.

In addition, the forum's servers are located in Montreal, Canada, safely outside the USA legal system.

Thanks for the info, In one of my posts I had warned that this might happen too, and I am not surprised it is opened again this is because the owners are never really prosecuted, it is just the workers that are punished the owners are then free to hire new staff and carry on as if nothing has happened, this is the sad state of affairs, If customers are caught on Friday it is quit possible they are kept in custody till the court case this is a real danger irrespective of the actual legal situation once you are taken to the cop shop you are at their mercy. As with most things in this country, "money talks". If the owners can make the right contacts and right financial arrangements, this place may eventually become safe. Let's hope so.
