Haha, not sure where you hail from friend, but in the US when you purchase a car (generally new) that starts to have a lot of mechanical issues right away or within a short period of time, you would call that car a "lemon". Most States have lemon laws that force the car dealer to make good on the bum car. FWIW :)

My wife and I just got back from our first trip to Thailand. While in Pattaya, we picked up a 22 year old stunner in Baccara. She asked for 3000 for LT at first. When I asked for the ST rate, she said 2000. I didn't blink or try to get her to lower her price. We took her to our hotel and were treated to an amazing gfe. It was truly one of the great bargains of my life. I have been working in Jakarta the past two and one-half months and have found it to be cheaper than Pattaya, where I visited for a month last year.
Culturally, Indonesia and Thailand are worlds apart. If you have a basic knowledge of the local language you will certainly find quality girls at prices equal to or cheaper than Thai girls, IMHO.

I were in Indonesia, but about 10 to 15 years ago. At that time, the girls in the Clubs asked for 100$ and at that time, Thailand was cheaper. But, there were local so called hunting girls and street working girls, whose were cheaper.
The girls were good performer and quite nice. Good fun indeed, but it was dirty in Indonesia, I had often problems with stomach, when I eat in local restaurants, so I used to go to Fast Food Restaurants. Girls were also not as clean as Thais and Hotels were expensive in regard to Thailand.
So, all together Indonesia was nice, since I made a sightseeing trip from Jakarta, Jogjakarta, Surabaya, Mount Bromo to Bali. People were very friendly and girls imho more pretty than in Thailand.
Though if I count the whole package, in regards of price for Hotel, quality of Food, traffic, availability of girls, etc I prefer Thailand.

Wow...very well said. I been looking for answers to this paradox of selection between Farangs and Asian men. Being Asian myself, I have always thought while in Pattaya and now in PH that why do farangs always pick girls which i wouldn't go with anywhere.
Its not like, ok she is not the best, but will do, and im kinda ok with her, no, its amazement and sometimes disgusting...is he serious.....Did he travel all the way from europe and america to pick a girl who has no business to be in bars.
However, hard i try, my thoughts always go in for an extreme reaction. ohh man, its some kinda confession for me to say like this, i still remember the faces of every farang and his selection in pattaya, the image of mismatch has stuck me for ever. It was not supposed to be like that, i should be minding my own business but i can't help but notice.
I felt sorry for the farangs, and thought they could do better, little did i know, they share the same feelings for us :). I have bar hopped with farangs in PH and they will always go against my selection and find some fault and will push their selection on me. They seem upset and a visible disbelief that i could go with a girl like that.
Over the years, i read the same issues of choice wars between Asians and farangs. It should be a good thing right, less competition, but showhow, it goes the other way and generates extreme emotions.
The choice of bar girls between asians and farangs, is one of extremes. There seems to be no middle ground.

I disagree with your conclutions. I am convinced that most men whether they are Farangs or not like the same kind of women. Otherwise Asian men wouldn't like the female actors in Hollywood movies.
The reason why you see so many Farangs with "ugly" girls are imho, because Farang guys are often too shy or have low self esteem or are not used to court women. So the bargirls, mamasan choose for them and therefore also not attractive girls can make business.
I am often in Clubs were you can also find Asian, Arab and Indian guys. They are in my eyes, very pushy to the girls. They are not afraid to get deceived or look like fools. Often they have girls which I find attractive myself. I have to admit, I don't mean those poor arab and indian guys, who often can only pay the ugly girls. I speak from those rich Arabs and Indian guys in Spassos, CM2, Bossy, etc.
Also, the girls in the gentlemen clubs are most likely those, who you would like as well. Some Farang might perfer dark, small and skinny girls, but I am quite sure the mayority like tall, leggie, curvy girls, which you see in advertisment, movies and magazines.

In my eyes it is all about proportion: If she is tall then she has to be leggy, and if she is big then I expect her to be curvy. But I am equally comfortable with small girls with a typical asian physique - I wouldn't say skinny, but certainly slender and bumpy (rather than curvy) is fine by me. And I genuinely have absolutely no interest in the relative shade of the skin.

I think you see most farang with "ugly girls" is because they are easier, cheaper, and more available than the sexier local hot thais, and faranag don't have to compete with the thais to get them. Lets face it, in every country in the world the local elite gets the cream of the crop

Many farang want a thai girl who is exotic.
Pale white skin and snotty rich-girl attitude are attributes present in roughly 80% of western women.
To come to Thailand and go after the same thing would be a waste of opportunity.

All thais are exotic regardless of skin color. They all have attributes that are very different than western woman.
"snotty rich-girl attitude" has nothing to do with what i'm talking about here. There are indeed some white skin girls who are peasants too, but not before long a thai guy will scoop em up.
If hot brown skin "ugly" girls went for 5k-10k ST, and rich thais were competing for them I doubt many farangs would be buying them.
