You do need to go through the lobby, she needs to show her papers at the reception and then you will need to take her to your room as you need room card to run the lift. However it's a small lobby and staff doesn't care who you are with as long as she has valid papers. It's always a good idea to let the doorman know that you intend to bring a guest and they will facilitate. Never had any issues with security or reception. If you are staying at hotel, there is no entry fee to blitz. The band is good and it's full of WGs but I don't think you will get the variety of LRM.
