If you are thinking about it-- don't WAIT -- it is well worth the time and money. I went to Jaco one time and I was like an addict after-- I can't stop going back for more and more. Panama is just the same.

Recent visit to PTY.

All the spots remain the same. Early action at Habanos, Golden Times, etc. You can pick something up late at the Venetto mearimg 4-5 in the morning. Doesn't mean she's been out, but desperate to close a deal.

First time in PTY. I visited Goldfinger Tuesdaay night at about 10 pm. Nice line up, all at least 7/10. Went with #10, a busty dark-haired Colombiana. In Panama now. Ended up at Ashe on Calle Uruguay last night just to check out the scene. The place was full of Colombian pros, but there were a couple locals who looked like they were just fishing. There are complex reasons, such as there is more money in Panama. It is a financial hub. Much more Venezuelan and oil money flowing in. Also, Many more business travelers etc but the simple answer is the market sets the rate and girls are hotter.

In fact, when I was at Idem, the girl I took on was from Panama! I did not go to Jaco but read that most of the girls at the Cocal there are much like those at the Del Ray where $100 US is the norm, which is still lower than Panama City. I didn't even get to meet a working Costa Rican girl in San Jose as they were all from outside the country. Perhaps there is just more competition in CR resulting in lower prices and as you all said so far, lower living costs.
