I used my Garmin GPS going down there. Guess what? Welcome to Mexico sir! I pulled a ***** as soon as I was in Mexico but still had to wait about 45 minutes to get back across. Totally late for my Sentri Interview. They were cool with it though and understood and got me my interview within 20 minutes after I arrived.
I left Corona at 14:00 and arrived in San Ysidro at the Ueta parking lot at 16:00. There was light traffic on the way there. This was my third time to la Zona Norte, so this time I decided to walk instead of taking a taxi. I copied EFJAYEL's map that I found on this board to my T-Mobile G2 and used it as my guide. It took me about 20 minutes to walk to la Zona because I got pulled in by the tourist trap called Av. Revolucion (as my excuse, it was my first time walking around there since I was a kid). I was looking at the stuff for sale down Av. Revolucion but eventually decided to move on to the good stuff for sale.
I really wanted to try some Viagra or Cialis but I didn't know which pharmacy to trust. I guess I got to do my research for next time. When I finally got to the Zona, the first thing that I did was to walk the ally. This was my first time checking out the street girls. On my previous visits, I only went to Adelita and / or Hong Kong. I walked back and forth between Constitucióand and Niños Héroes and saw some cute girls but I was kinda hungry since I didn't have lunch yet. I ended up having some decent carne asada tacos at the Monte Carlo restaurant next door to Adelita. After my late lunch I decided to have a beer at Adelita to give myself some time to digest. I enjoyed the girls dancing for about half an hour then moved on to Hong Kong. I had another beer while watching the shaving cream show for a while. In my opinion, the girls are a lot hotter at Hong Kong than Adelita.
After my beer, I went back and walked back and forth down the ally again. I started talking to this this cute 20 year old flaca named Diana standing in front of Bar La Capichura. She didn't know that much English, so I used the really basic Spanish that I knew from high school plus the Spanish phrases that I learned from the Mexican Spanish Phrases thread on this board. I even copied a list of useful phrases to my phone just in case. LOL. She quoted me $20 for the fuck, $5 for toda sin ropa, and $6 for the room for 20 minutes. I decided to take her so we went up to the hotel next door to Bar La Capichura. I also decided to take her upsell for toda sin ropa. I was glad I did as she had a sexy tight body. I had a good time with her. Afterwards, I took a $5 taxi back to la línea because I didn't really want to walk around Tijuana at night. I got to the border at 20:30. They had 4 lanes open and I got through pretty quick. I was back in my car and out of the parking lot within 20 minutes.
I have spoken out in the past about nickel and dimeing, cutting corners to save a penny here / there when traveling to Tijuana. I just her an author interviewed on the radio which may have me thinking a little different on the topic.
He stated that they did research that if a person was offered $3 or 300 pennies, they would take the 300 pennies. Psychologically, people think they are getting more when they get the bigger number (even though the amount is the same).
So, when you offer a chica $60 dollars, or 600 pesos, you are really offering less, but they think they are getting more. With this philosophy, it may be worth your while to use peso's instead of dollars.
Just my 2 cents, er, should I say my 20 pesos. LOL
That maybe when the value IS the same. Most girls aren't stupid and know that 600 pesos is less than 60 bucks. When most people use dollars. That's how it goes. I've been meaning to try pesos lately too, but usually forget.

Another word of advice is avoid scheduling your appointment between 11am to 1 pm. For some reasons they don't stagger the officer lunch times, so you do the intial document submission first and are waiting around for a while. I know Tom Jackin' has described the interview as pretty simple, my I got asked a TON of questions about why I needed the Sentri. He asked whom I was visiting in Mexico ect. The guy saw my passport with stamps around the world and started asking me many questions about it. My buddy got it even worse. The lady officer was questioning his finances because of his large mortage. They were pretty rigourous and asked a the same quesition a couple of times during the interview (in an attempt to catch people with stories that aren't straight). However, don't fear their demeanor is quite nice. When you walk up they shake your hand and introduce themselves and and make small chat, even the Filipino officers. Best advice just keep it cool, and answer their questions. I paid the fee and then had my car inspected. I was sweating the front tinted windows, but they didn't even pay attention! Infact all the cars in line had the frontside tinted windows (this is Southern California!) All they really check is that you don't have funny looking potential stashes in your truck or hood, that you have both license plates and that your windsheild isn't cracked. Then they affix the stick and you're set to go.
We will get the SENTRI card in the mail withing 2 weeks, but while we were down there. We thought we might as well go have some fun. Drove from Otay back to San Ysidro, again mind the 905 construction. It can be confusing. Parked in back in Jack in the crack as usual, walked over the bridge and across the turnstiles. Cabbed it la Zona. Walked into AB around 2 pm. Lots of girls standing around and decent looking. Walked around the back the alley and as usual ended up in HK through the south entrance. Their were some decent lookers, but like 4 of the best looking ones we occupied at a table upstairs with an older lookin gringo fellow (each taking turns coming downstairs for stage show). Couldn't help but but wonder if that man was one of you guys. Because I wanted to ask and give you a high five! They were really overdoing it with the fog machines today! I almost became light-headed. My buddy left to hit the SW and had a good time. I had been in the mood all week for a really skinny "teeny-bopper". I found Tiffany a super slim and tall brunette who was dancing on the south stage (where the foam show happens. She was about 6ft tall with her heals, but looked taller because of her slim physique. Wented upstairs. The place is under construction like crazy! Had a great session, that I would consider light GFE, which was all I was really interested in at the time. She didn't ask for money upfront which is usually a great sign that your session will go well. Afterwards we cuddled on the bed and showered together. She haas a 1 year old daughter and I jokingly asked her for milk and she said ok she was lactating and squeezed out a few dropps. But I said no thanks. Just haven't really cared to try that yet! I paid her on our way out and it was kind of ironic. In true Mexican-catholic fashion she does the sign of the cross with the money that she had just earned in hand. Kind of funny that her she is living the life in sin, yet practicing religion. I say typical mexican-catholic fashion, because even drug traffickers had a patron saint and do the sign of the cross praying that they don't get caught!

The guy even said,"I'm recommending you for approval, but you have to understand that it can still be reconsidered. The final decison is made when they print your card." or something to that extent. Sounds like bs since I got the sticker on my car. I think they just did that because of a backlog. They have to make the cards elsewhere.

Everytime I used them in the end I got the short end of the stick. Everyone gives prices in US dollars on Tijuana so I think the mindframe is when they tell you 5 USD and you say you have pesos they're like shit well this guy needs to get rid of them and they make a great exchange rate for themselves. Tijuana is just basically the United States shit hole. Personally my philosophy is find a girl that is awesome and don't care as much what you pay her. I'm not saying over pay, but nickeling and diming ruins the mood and I think in the end everyone wants a GFE experience.
I am planning a trip in the next week or two. I live in South Bay area of LA. My car only gets about 17mpg, so I am looking for a shuttle or regular public transportation from the LA area to the border so I can play. Any ideas?

There was some talk in this section about a bus or van that shuttles for a cheap price, but I don't remember the name.
You may want to check on what days the Amtrak stops in Old Town. I know it usually does not on the weekend. Also, I would suggest that you may want to take the Amtrak all the way to the San Diego Station (SAN) , instead of getting off in Old Town. It should be around $45 R / T, unless you are old fart like me. The trolley will pick you up at either place. You want the Blue line to San Ysidro, and it is $2. 50 (unless you are an old fart like me, then it is $ 1. 25). Buy your ticket from one of the machines by the trolley tracks.
If you live in the south bay, you might want to do the Amtrak out of Anaheim. I live in signal Hill and it takes me 30 minutes to get to the station, without traffic. It is just over two hours from Anaheim (ANA) to San Diego on the train. The trolley usually takes about 45 minutes. This past weekend they were getting all the SY passengers off at 24th Street and we got on a bus to the border. It actually works out to be faster since the bus does not stop. Coming back there will either be a bus (buy your trolley ticket first or you won't get on the bus) , or a line if the bus is not there. It will take you to 24th Street Station. This could take a while longer since you must wait for the trolley north bound to show up. It was fifteen minutes at immigration at 8 AM. I left the hotel at 8 AM in the morning and walked through my door in SH at noon.
I tried something different this weekend, and left ANA later. I got to the hotel Leyva at about 8:30 PM. I was charged $17. 00 for the room, with each lady $12. 00 each. My room ended up being $29. 00 since I only took one from Chicago. She was O. K, but reminded me of why I should not take a woman not showing her midriff. She had great naturals, very nice legs, but under it all was a small gut. Oh well. My bad. I went over to Adelita's and picked a spinner that I had been with before, that had absolutely no fat. She paid the price for my previous error. And was an excellent session.
All-in-all the zona had both many more women and mongers this weekend. HK was it's usual sausage fest, and hot as h*ll. I didn't spend much time there. Las Chavelas had a couple of VGL ladies, and more people than usual. Adelita's also had a few more women than normal. Chicago Club had a 3-4 VGL ladies.
A funny thing happened in CC. I was sitting at the end of the bar watching the Lakers game. One of the ladies came and sat down next to me. I looked over and said,"hola". She looked at me and it was like she had sat on an electric chair. Her ass shot up, and she hauled ass away without even a word. Talk about not being able to buy p*ssy in a working girl house. As fast as she moved, and the look on her face, was hilarious. I guess she doesn't like fat, old farts.
It seemed as though there were more ladies available than in the past few months, both at the clubs, and in the street.

I usually spend a few nights in the motels at Bayfront / E Street in Chula Vista. Will my only option be to take the slow bus to the border? If so, does anyone know how late the buses run?
Every trip I usually spend a few nights at the hotel Leyva. Has there been a policy change there? I would usually pay $20+ for a room on the parking lot side. The old rooms in the hall way were a little less. Are they now charging $12 to take a girl to your room or is this just girls from the Chicago club? I may have to find another hotel this trip. I don't think they would do this to the gringos who reside there.
There is a station at Bayfront / E Street, but it is after the 24th Street Station. You could still get on the trolley and at the end they would take you to San Ysidro by bus, but it makes stops along the way. You might want to take the north bound trolley to 24th Street (the next station) , and then take the bus, which is an express to the border. The last trolley from the border leaves at 12:59 AM according to their web-site. Google Sand Diego trolley and it will get you the information. They are in the process of repairing the tracks, so the stations that they stop at change, you probably want to check prior to your visit.
I stayed on the old side and it was $17 for the room, and $12 for each lady. The room was very standard, but all I do is session and sleep there. I only took one so it was $29 for the night. The real be*tch was the calls. I got three of them telling her time was up. Since I had the room for the night I don't understand why they cared about the time.
I don't know about the past. I usually stay on Ave. Revo and it is $44 for weekend nights, so I still saved money.
