Medellin Reports

I downloaded the app. Went to make my first order.

It asks for a telephone number- I had to change country as I don't have a Colombian cell.

I press order and it brings me back to the screen to enter telephone number. This just goes on and on.

Anybody else have this problem? Or no a workaround?

2) Delete the app. No need to delete the card again (as I mentioned to do in a previous post unless you did not verify the card. See my other Rappi post a page or so back).

3) Re-install the app and use the SMS option to login. Don't worry about not having a Colombian number: you can select the US country code (+1) and it will send your phone the SMS verification code to log into Rappi.

I like them young and unspoiled if I can get them. I have had a few high school girls myself. They are 18, but still in school. For me, that makes it extra hot. If you can get them to wear their uniform, all the better. The HS girls I've had are not prepagos (at least not yet), so getting them fresh with no baby damage, cellulite, fat without much mileage is great. They often lack some experience, but that's where the teaching comes into play. And that can be fun also, especially when they are open to learning.

I roam the streets of Centro looking for my type, and I roam frequently.

I have decided to share a little trip report about my first visit to Colombia.

First a little about me, I have usually monger in Asia countries like Thailand, Philippine, Indonesia etc. I am Chinese, from New York and 39 years old. My main priority when traveling are girls, food and poker, in that order.

Colombia was more of a happy accident. Due to Covid, I am unable to spend my vacation in Asia, so I had to scramble for a new place. It was originally planned for Costa Rica since I don't speak a word of Spanish and I have heard its easier there if you don't speak Spanish. However eventually, we settle on Colombia.

I also did a lot of pretrip planning like I always do, probably read through 500 page of this board, set up a Facebook and tinder account etc. Read alot of advice from the board and ignore them. More on that later.

The trip was 3 days in Cartagena and 5 days in Medellin and I was traveling with 3 other friends.

The first day started off terrible, Jetblue had a 4 hour delay, 3 of those hour were stuck sitting in the plane. The original plan was to land and go watch sunset at Caf Del Mar. Since we had a 4 hour delay, we landed at 7 pm, and the taxi we told also broke, and we had to help push the taxi to the side of the road and get pick up by another taxi. We got to Oz hotel, and found out the taxi driver drop us off in the wrong oz, since their is two oz hotel. Luckily it was a 5 min walk to the other hotel and we were able to settle in, take a shower and get ready to go out.

During this time I also walked to a nearby grocery store to buy some water, and was harass by what feels like 20 different vendor in a 2 block walk. I didn't believe it when I was told there is alot of vendor in Cartagena, I was obviously wrong.

We went to Juan Del Mar for a late dinner, (more of a late lunch, since we were stuck at Jetblue for an extra 4 hour, we skipped lunch too.) we had the shrimp paella, the lobster paella and a mix Ceviche. The Ceviche was weird but not bad, the lobster paella was good but the shrimp one was a little blend. Then we head to Dolce Vita, it was already 11 pm then, and there is a 12 o'clock curfew. Only one of my friend found a companion. Every one else just walked around clock tower and the clubs for a while and went back to the hotel. I did message a girl who I match on tinder came over to the hotel at 1. 30 am. I was going to ask her for the next day but she said she can come not, so I said ok. Apparently curfew doesn't really matter to them. I have read about Colombian girls being flaky and when this girl show up 40 min later then she said, I through that was what you guys meant and it wasn't that bad. (P. S. I was very wrong). Anna show up, we chat for a bit. She was super friendly and didn't seem to mind that I have to use google translate for everything. Then she said she was hungry, so we tried to order through Rappi. That burger she order told almost an hour and a half to get here. Then we had our session and she sleep till the morning. (I usually prefer them to stay overnight, so that was what we agree on.).

Day two, I woke up and went to a coffee shop nearby for breakfast alone. This is going to be a recurring theme, since I am almost always up earlier then my other friends. After they all wake up, we went to Centro and did some touristy stuff, walked around town, visit Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas. (P. S. We were all wearing shorts, I know I read that you are suppose to wear long pants and try to blend in with the local, but I looked myself in the mirror and figure a Chinese who doesn't speak a word of Spanish in Colombia is never going to blend in. Plus Cartagena was super hot.). Night time came, we had dinner at Cafe Del Mar and watch the sunset. Del Mar was a total tourist trap, food and drink were expensive and tasted terrible. We went to Delirium check out the talnet, it was a bit early at 8 pm and there was maybe 10 to 15 girls in there but none to our liking. So we walked around and eventually settle down at Dolce Vita. One of the chica tried to quote my friend 1. 2 million peso, but since I did my research. We said no and sent her on her way. Spend a few hours looking around and only 1 of our friend find a girl again. I am pretty sure its because I am picky but Cartagena was looking like a burst and Colombia was looking like one of those one of a life time trip.

Day three, I had reservation on Blue Apple Resort for a beach day. The beach was dingy and small. Most people stayed around the pool area anyway, but some how the food at Blue Apple were great, probably some of the best thing I had in Cartagena. Came back and tried our luck at the club and clock tower again. I think my friend lowered their standard but it was still a burst for me, so I asked Anna to come over again and we went to have dinner El Muelle near our hotel. Food was decent, my friend really liked the seafood rice but my friend fish was just ok. Anna was probably the best thing that happen in Cartagena and she still message me at time. I just don't have the heart to tell her, I am probably not going to visit Cartagena again.

Day four, We packed up and went to the airport for our trip to Medellin. Arrive to Medellin with no problem, and the taxi driver we had (Victor) spoke really good english and we end up taking down his contact for a later trip to Guatape. This was a super lucky accident, since I was not able to find another other taxi driver that spoke english this whole trip. We arrive at our airbnb in El Poblado, called Europa. Very nice place, huge 3 bed rooms with balcony, 4 bathroom. Staff spoke English and super friendly. I think our 3 bedroom was 180 usd a day. The wifi was choppy in my room and only works in the living room, and the hot water was on and off at times. Regardless, I would still recommend this place. One of my friend was staying at Haven Hotel, since he joined last minute and we already booked our airbnb. I never went into his room, but the outside of his hotel looked great and definitely guest friendly. We were going to go our and grub some dinner and watch Argentina vs Colombia Copa America. I suggested Patrick's Irish Pub, but when we got there, it was kind of quiet and dark. The bar across the street with a balcony (forgot the name) had a great vibe and many pretty waitress, so we went there. Turns out they don't serve food, our waitress said she can bring us girls if we want. She was the pretties in the bar, so we ask her to sit down and drink with us. Never found out if we can take them out, but this bar had a bunch of great looking waitress. After the game, we walked around Parque Lleras, checked out Gusto and a few other clubs. Eventually, I think 2 of my friends found a girl but I was super tired and went back to airbnb to sleep. Quality was definitely better in Medellin then Cartagena through.

Day Five. One of my friend needed to exchange money, so we went to the mall. (The exchange rate at the airport was 3200, but I used ATM card for cash the whole trip. I did bring cash just in case but it was not needed.) We grub some lunch at the mall and 3 of us headed to central too look around. I was pretty sure I wasn't going to pick anyone up at central, because I hate short time hotel and I can't speak a word of Spanish, so I would have to take out my phone to translate. However, One of my friend had his phone out the whole time taking pictures, but I didn't really feel particularly unsafe. I did see one or two pretty ones at central but I wasn't sure if they are just regular people living in the area since they are moving, so I didn't approach, plus one of them look underage. It is worth exploring through, and I will be back when my Spanish is better. Night time, I schedule with a girl I met on facebook Luis and she said she has friends for my friends. I know people told me on this forum that its a terrible idea to have a group, but of course I didn't listen. Her friends looked pretty and I wasn't thinking with my head, at least not the right head. She showed up with 3 friends who looked nothing like the pictures and we were stuck in a situation of how to get rid of them. To be fair, the facebook girl looked like her pictures, but I just didn't want to bother at that point. We eventually sent them on their way but it was a costly mistake. We went to Don Diablo after for steak. Steak wasn't great but I was told by my friend that the ribs were great. I had a girl setup from facebook to show up that day, we were message the whole day but 2 hour before our appointment, she went silent and I was just too lazy to go out to look for one, so I called a day.

Day Six. Two of my friend wanted to go hiking at Pan de Azucar. I really didn't want to and I set up to have the facebook girl that flake yesterday to come over. She didn't show again, but that was my excuses to not go hiking. Me and my other friend went to check out Eros Spa. These spa are super hidden with no sign in the door and looks like a residential area. Thanks to the Medellin I download from the forum, we were able to find it. It was about 2 pm but still around 15 girls there. I didn't see anything I like but my friend picked a girl there. I forgot how much it was in the spa but it was cheaper then I expected. My friend turns out really liked the girl at the spa and asked her to come out later, I think he was quoted 450 for 7 hours. We then try to find some poker. Casino Hollywood had 1 table going, 4 pm to around 1 am. Casino Rio said they have people playing later, but that turn out to be not true. We were going to head out to dinner to Mondongo, but the front desk at our airbnb suggested Restaurante La Matriarca for Colombia food, so off we went. On the way, we pass by Parque Lleras and this pretty young girl approach me with her friends. I ask if she want to join us for dinner, she said not hungry, lets just go to your hotel. That was my first red flag, but I wasnt thinking at the time, so I ask her for whatsap and she told me, her phone is broken but I can take down her friends number. She then quoted 700 mil for all nighter rate and off we went to dinner, I know this was high but I am terrible at haggling and we were going to eat and I wanted someone to come along. At the restaurant I was trying to be nice, so I told her if she needed to message her friend, she can use my phone. She then proceed to use my phone, the whole night chatting with her friends. She also order some shrimp and squeezed probably 5 whole lime into it, she gave me a taste and it was so sour. I think I lost a few tooth. When we got back to the airbnb, she ask if she can put on some music, which was fine by me. However, she changes sound 3 times, during our session and answered whatsap twice on my phone. YES, During our session. I sent her out right after and this was the only one I didn't have stay the night. She message the next day, asking if I want to see her again.

Day Seven. We meet up with Victor, the taxi driver we meet at the airport and went to Guntape. He quote 100 usd for the whole trip, and I think it was a great deal. He drove us to everything we wanted to see, walked us around. Gave good suggestion for foods to eat. When we came back, my friend wanted to tip him 100 usd. I told him a 100% is crazy, but he refuse to back down and wanted to pay with his money. Eventually we tipped him 200 mil peso, but he was Victor was very grateful. When we got back, I some how tried to schedule with the facebook girl that flake on me twice, yes I am stubborn and dumb at times. She did show up this time and everything went great. She is so super flaking that I am not sure if I wanted to see her again. My friends went to La Isla this night.

Last Day. We woke up ready for our antigen test. The airbnb was able to schedule a nurse to come give us the test and she show up exactly on time. When it was one of my friends turn for the test, the nurse ask if he had drugs up his nose. He said no, but we were all dumbfounded with the question. Turns out the girl he picked up at La Isla gave him some pink powder to try but he was afraid to admitted to the nurse. Still no idea what it is but luckily his covid test came back negative, but he was shook up the whole day.

Final through, There is really no Asian's in Colombia, I saw probably a handful during the 8 days I was there. Medellin weather is amazing. You can get by with no Spanish but you really don't want to. One night I walk out to grub my friend some bandage, because he cut his finger and I didn't bring my phone. When I got to the pharmacy, the pharmacist can't understand my hand gesture for bandage, luckily there was an expat their to help me out. Also, trying to use google translate on a phone, to read the menu on another phone looks super dumb. I am now working on my Spanish and planning a return trip to Medellin in October.

It feels a bit like ecstasy mixed with ketamine.
