Showgirls is located in Customs Street at the other end of Queen Street near the railway and bus stations. It's pretty hard to miss, mostly due to the sign and also because there's usually a giant evil looking bouncer hanging around the entrance putting you off going in, and this is one of the things about Showgirls. Whereas the Whitehouse has a certain family atmosphere to it, with dancers who have been there for years, and recognisable and friendly staff, Showgirls has a very cold, business like quality to it, with stories about how the dancers are just treated as commodities.

Showgirls does have a huge advantage over the White House though, it's open during the daytime, from noon onwards, and before 5:30pm you can get in for free. It would be perfectly feasible to walk into showgirls for free, see lots of naked girls dance, then walk out again without paying a penny, although perhaps they're watching for this. I've never paid to get into Showgirls.

Showgirls also seems to turn their dancers over faster than the White House, so if you go once a month you're likely to see someone new. The main show floor is smaller than the White House, and where as the White House feels like a cathedral dedicated to erotic dancing, Showgirls just feels like a regular strip club.

They're very fond of their laser lights at Showgirls, but I'm not. There are certain spots in Showgirls if you sit there you'll get get zapped in the eyes with lasers.

Also, whereas you know what you'll get from private dances in the White House, Showgirls is a mystery. My own experiences of the strip clubs:
