Hotel list compiled by 11Bravo
Thank you mate for the great work!
It is the by far the best compilation we ever had got on this thread. I can confirm the correctness and accuracy of the table concerning the Bur Dubai area.
What about Ramada on Mankhool Rd. nowadays? Is it necessary to show the ORIGINAL passport of your companion at the reception? This sounds like a diplomatic impediment without loosing face in terms of guest friendliness. I read about such a case on this thread. May be a separate occurence due to certain factors concerning the lady. I hope they didn't change their policy.
Best wishes,
Adimondo

Name:
Alphabetical for easy lookup (as most questions in the form of "Is hotel xyz friendly").
If you cannot directly find, use your browser to "FIND on page" (under EDIT on global menu bar - top of browser, or CTRL+F) on MAIN name (e.g. "Meridien" is listed as "Le Meridien").
Some may be listed twice due to different "experiences".
Ratings: The ratings are based on comments found in the hotel thread. Hopefully, they will indicate YOUR experience if you stay there, but NO guarantee.[list][*]GREEN: guest friendly, no adverse comments POSTED[*]YELLOW: adverse comments posted (mostly due to "guest" charges")[*]RED: absolute refusal or DIFFICULT requirements (e.g., ORIGINAL passport, no copy).
