Hi guys
Jumeira Rotana. I think it is in satwa, behind dune centre. Anyone has any idea if it is gf? search didnt throw up any info.
Would be nice to know if there is any in house talent availible there.
Will post a report when I get back. Have no choice, got to stay there.

What about Ramada on Mankhool Rd. nowadays? Is it necessary to show the ORIGINAL passport of your companion at the reception? This sounds like a diplomatic impediment without loosing face in terms of guest friendliness. I read about such a case on this thread. May be a separate occurence due to certain factors concerning the lady. I hope they didn't change their policy.

Thx[/QUOTE]Stayed there during GITEX in September. Very girl friendly. The night manager just gave me a wink and a smile every night as I walked past the front desk.
Can't say much about in house talent. Went into the hotel bar, but that was to watch a Champions League match. Noticed a group of young asian lovelies(5 or 6) that came in. Not sure if they were on the job or not. They stayed for around 20 minutes and left.
When I checked in, before I even got out my wallet, the clerk flatly stated "No girls in the room!". Keep that in mind while tryin to have a good time.
I love the bar though.

Brilliant summation of the hotel scene. Glad that I could have helped in some way, I recognised a couple of comments. I'll get in touch next time I get a chance to travel to DXB. No immediate plans due to too much work at the moment. Prices for hotels can be found from numerous internet hotel discount sites. They vary sooo much dependent on when the Dubai Shopping festival is on, or what convention or exhibition is in town. Dubai is getting to be a little expensive these days. The cheap hotels are no longer that cheap.
As Bravo and others have posted, don't go to Dubai just for P4P, if you can incorporate it into a business trip, all well and good. Otherwise, it can get pricey.
Regardless of all that, have a great Christmas and a Happy Humping New Year.

About the Rihab Rotana, I'm the one who filed that report from last year. I just want to make it clear that I never tried to bring a girl through the lobby so I can't say for sure if it's guest friendly that way. But having a car, parking underground and taking the elevator up works like a dream.
