I've been a lurker for quite some time but I don't recall seeing this particular topic covered for hot tocs, but I was wondering a couple of things. I'd appreciate it if anyone could provide their personal take on the matter.

1) Is it generally "ok" to ask for a particular girl? If not, is there a steadfast method to make that distinction if you can or can't?

With massage type places I have no qualms about asking for a different girl or a better masseuse if the service isn't very good. It's the whole 'hot toc' thing I'm not familiar with at all.

2) What's the 'standard' duration you can stay at these places while being, how shall we say, "serviced"?

It's happened to me before where I errantly think of some horrible image like my sister- total buzz kill to say the least. I sometimes wind up having to extend the session which is fine, but it's frustrating when they say you've run out of time when you actually haven't.

To answer one of your questions: It is perfectly normal to choose whichever girl girl you want at a Hot Toc and just smile and ignore the one they push on you if you don't want her. Don't think twice about it, nothing to be shy about, totally standard for customer to choose.

Its been long 2 yrs since I was in HCMC but still remember the place fondly.
After 2 yrs I dont remember the places exactly. But I am sure the following will lead you to Minh Tan Hotel.

Take a taxi from anywhere in District 1. Tell him go to MGM. Its a disco place. Cross the road from MGM and walk 10 meters right and u will enter a street. Walk about 2 min. You will find Minh Tan on your left side of the street.

Tour69 had a number of profiles advertising their services at tagged. I think they all got shutdown.

If you are in town for 24 hrs or so with no time for homework then they might be worth considering. Otherwise there are too many other options.
