I am in Austin also, was just in NL the 11th-13th. I also travel alone but company and sharing gas expenses would be a good idea. It's only a few hour drive but that drive sucks.

That weekend will be the first after BPE will start asking for the driver's license and birth certificate or passport. If they don't postpone the new rule, I expect the lines at the bridge to be quite long because of the new clusterf*ck. Then again, most people crossing are Mexican nationals with laser visas so it is just the US citizens that will slow things up.

I also don't drive in Mexico but park on the US side and then get a Hotel on the Mexican side. I usually get there at about 5:00 on Friday and walk across. Then I have a nice dinner and then start hobbying.

I have done TLN's with chicas from Papagayo's the past 3 years. $300 is what I have paid the chicas.

I have had guys tell me you can get a chica cheaper than $300. Maybe but that has not been the case with me with the chicas at Papa's. You can try negotiating.

I don't know what dinero chicas at Danash charge for a TLN or what the salida is there. Chicas at Danash are more expensive than Papa's. $80 is the top going rate for a chica at Papa's + $16 room fee. $100 and up is the top going rate at Danash + $10 room fee. Always negotiate and don't pay the top going rate unless she is hot. Some chicas will negotiate and take less than the top going rate and others will not.

Most of my TLN's were done in house at Papa's in 2005 & 2006. The chica I use to see had her own room off the courtyard by the cocina/kitchen. She did not have a room mate. The salida used to be the same amount at Papa's for off premises or in house. It used to be $40. La Patrona Ophelia-the deceased owner of Papagayo's raised the rates to $50 salida off premises & $70 in house salida in late 2006. Most of the chicas have room mates in their rooms that they sleep in at Papa's. So I don't know how receptive a chica will be to in an house TLN.

I have done TLN's at Colon Plaza Hotel which is very close to NLBT. 2007 room rate there was in the $70+ range with tax.

All the "what" are what you need to make sure to discuss as part of the negotiating. I am a big fan of TLN (correct translation Toda La Noche). I usually negotiate as many pops as I can manage but most chicas will give you at least one at night and one in the morning. For positions, I insist on multiple positions. If you have any special requirements (like BBBJ or anal), make sure to specify when making the deal. I prefer to pick up a girl around 10pm and keep her until checkout time. Now that I am married, I usually have a morning appointment that provides me the excuse to report to a hotel rather than home and the girl needs to leave whenever works best for me. Make sure to negotiate their method of departure as well, especially if you have a car and they expect you to drive them back (otherwise factor in at least $10 more for a cab).

Being a cheap bastard, I try to keep my cost low. So, my favorite TLN motel is Cesar Palace. It is conveniently located and only 400 pesos for the night (the staff is also discreet and minds their own business). As mentioned, I am cheap so I stick to Papas girls and offer $200 total (usually using the apologetic phrase "solamente tengo $200"). I also have some booty call girls (retired or semi-retired Papas girls) who I can call and they give me discounts anywhere between $120 and $160 with no salida (they show up or I pick them up from their house). Went by Friday night. As you likely know, the entire NL police force were temporarily relieved of their duties as the federal army took over police work pending investigation of balistics (sp? ) test on weapons to check if police weapons have been used in NL violence. The police force was also made to undergo drug tests. As of Friday, only 3 or so cops tested positive for drugs, and only a few cops were allowed to go back to work. Having mentioned all this, when I went to NL on Friday, I did not spot any transito as the feds were not worrying about citations (I guess this). When I entered using Bridge 1, there were at least a dozen military men with machine guns situated there. The Mexican customs agents were checking many more cars then usual as it seemed to me that the "random" red light system that is in place to choose who to stop seemed to be programmed to stop many more cars than I have ever seen. The staff just asked to see the trunk, which I just popped open from inside my car, they spent maybe a minute looking and then just took a glance of the interior of my car and let me through. Not bad. Anyway, as I was driving through NL, it must have been about 11:30, and the streets seemed empty to me compared to similar nights. IMO, it looked like people decided to stay in. Hell, if the Army took over the security of my city in place of my police force, I would be worried and stay home to. But there I was, driving to BT. But when driving to BT, I had a feeling the usual inspection guards would not be there, sure enough, I drove right in without an inspection!

It was a Friday night, but by the number of door girls and cars driving around, you would not know it. The traffic was light and there were fewer girls than usual.
