First Off a virus! 2nd someone has hacked your account. 3rd Contact Hotmail and see if its a system wide thing. Unfortunately with the free email accounts you get what you paid for! I personally use yahoo and have sometimes paid for more services. Hopefully some people (like me) that you have emailed with your lovely pictures to have not deleted your hard work and you can recover some of what's lost. You really really need a back up plan man! Look up Carbonite $55 a year to back data online. So there's no excuses. PM me if you need specific help. I really don't think there's much else that can be done.

Hi Frank, yes, this week Hotmail did an "upgrade" of its free E mail service. I too was prompted to install that Silver utility but declined. Thank you for alerting us to the problem.

I'd say you have a long evening ahead of you forwarding your important mail to a different server or else just click on the box to the left of the important mails and select "move to" a "new folder" that you will have created. I think they will be safe there. As for the deleted mails, they should have been in that folder already.

On the other hand I've never had troubles with yahoo.

I remember in some countries like jamaica I couldn't even log into MSN.

Also yahoo has a better spam filter.

By mistake I posted this on the Manision forum.

I'm at the FLL airport now and I am not a happy camper. This is the 3rd time in a row that my late flight to ACY is delayed.

I also had a problem at the screening area in MDE. I had 2 proteen bars that I always carry on the plane. This one Officer wanted to take them from me. They were store sealed and I just took one of the bars from him and eat half of it in front of him. He looked at me funny then gave me back the other bar.

All in all a good trip in Colombia. The bad part was on a day per day basis I spent way more than any other monger trip I have taken.

As I was lugging my two bags from the Metro to the bus in El Centro, I said to myself after spending money like a drunken sailor, here I am working my butt off up and down the metro steps to save 47K.

Right now my nuts are sore and I guess when after being home for a week or so I will be looking for deals on Spirit (I am a glutton for punishment.)

BTW My 3 day trip to CTG was great. It broke things up a bit. I posted a report on that on the CTG forum

Thanks a lot for the intel. I always saw the New Folder prompt, but never zeroed in on it. I've transferred all of my working emails there making my job easier and reducing the time I spend finding them as they move back with the new emails.

As far as the other emails, they were not lost, just the format changed not showing that I had 14 pages of email, but they were still there. I found out when it gave a tally of all the sent, inbox, junk and deleted emails. It doesn't't show the number of pages now, but it has 2 sets of arrows for going forward or backward. One set will take you to the last or first page automatically and the other one will let you move from page to page, but it no longer gives you the page numbers. That's what threw me off.

Thanks guys for your help, really appreciated. The new system does have a slideshow for your pictures, which is kind of nice. Sometimes a new system can be better in some areas while worst in others. I shouldn't have panicked, but it was scary to think I had lost all that work. Although I had, out of precaution, forwarded most of the important emails to another account. Specially the ones with pictures. I was in the process of emailing them back to my Hotmail account, but now is not necessary, since I never lost them, the!

I can not even begin to tell you guys the good times I had in Medellin. I am sad to leave that city. This was my 5th trip to Medellin, and the girls I had this time was just amazing. Damn. Real good time.

There are no flights from curacao to medellin, you must go thru bogota (or perhaps aruba?). DAE goes a couple of times a week and Avianca every day. To save money, tell the Avianca web site that you are in Colombia, you can then change the language to English, when it comes time to pay, do not specify USA for your credit card, specify Other country, then put in your credit card info. With this method I have bought cheap promotional tickets that are normally only sold in Colombia.

Lots of hotels that are safe and reasonably safe, or try a hostel such as the Black Sheep (55k per night with private rm and bath). But since you don't speak Spanish I would suggest staying at Casa Blanca (the mansion) or at My Place (not terribly safe, but you will have others around to guide/protect you).

Most of the hotels in El Poblado are a bit expensive, but other barrios like Laureles are cheaper and still safe. But again, almost no one speaks English.
