Where to stay in CTG Hotel vs Apartment?
Dear fellow travelers and friends here.
I am not new to this forum but this is my first post here.
I got so many good advices here from you for my travel to Panama, Colombia and Saint Marteen so I decided to add my honest opinion to the group.
Me and my friend have visited Panama city several times before ended up here in Cartagena. We love CTG so much. And of course we saw it all, all the clubs, Hollywood beach, LDV etc etc, and I don't want to write about my performance, the beauty of the girls, prices, etc. We all know that-but if you need more info. Please ask. Happy to help.
But one thing I would like to add when you want to decide where to stay in CTG?
I know we all want to watch our budget but on the other hand we want to have a real good time too with a GFE. And here comes my point.
We never stayed in a hotel. We tried different apartments. Laguito at the first time, than cheaper apartments. Honestly guys. We found that it worth paying a little more because in my opinion the girls appreciate a little luxury, nice apartment, polite behaving, little gifts etc. After renting a few crapy apartment (on the cheaper end) some had no hot water, or smelly rooms, we ended up renting only at one place from a guy from Europe. His name is John but I guess he lives in the States. He rents in the Palmetto building on the beach of Bocagrande. Beautiful 2 BR apartments, with 2 private bathrooms, well furnished, TV, stereo systems etc. The building has the largest pool in CTG.
Anyhow we had girls over in the afternoon, pool party. Than fycky-fucky. Or a drink on the balcony and do the wild thing etc. The girls loved this place. REALLY, ! Afternoon price of a girls? 100-200 K COP. They love the relaxed atmosphere!
You can tell the difference when you show up with them in a place like this. And the treatment we received worth every penny. No issue with security, just need the I'd from the chica (normal) but no fee. Here is his contact info : www.cartagenacasas.com
And of course it might not for everybody, yep, you can drag a chic into a whole. But you get what you pay. If you want to treat yourself a little bit on the higher end I would hardly recommend to rent here. You will see the difference! It was always easy to book and each time he found us an accommodation, no matter what. OK guys hope you enjoy CTG as much we do. Cheers. And many tx for all of your tips and advices!

Apartments in Cartagena. Laguito
Anyone senior member with info on a two bedroom apartment from Nov 10-14 in Laguito please PM me. I've rented from Mery and Juan in the past, yes they are both great, but I know there have been brand new constructions since then, looking to rent in a new building with balcony preferably facing the water. Gracias.
I personally liked a lot Juan' s two bedroom apartment in Playa Mar (no. 801) , in particular the ice machine turned out to be useful. There is direct access to the beach and the balcony is sunny all day, and to the water front. Juan' s service was excellent. However if you like a modern building there is for example Torre del Lago. There are a number of agencies renting apartments, for example "inmobiliariacastellar. Com", agency owner is Luis Castelar Posso. The pool is huge, but in the shadow during the afternoon. I believe that Juan has also apartments in one of Laguito' s recent buildings. Unfortunately I do not remember the name. But I think that two bedroom apartments in the newer buildings are more expensive.
Apartment Prices with Juan
Juan rented me an apartment in Torre de Lago which is a new building. It was on 11th floor I believe and it faced the beach. Very nice building and apartment. Definitely one of the newest buildings. Also he rents apartments in Mirador building which is also pretty new, not as new as torre de lago but really nice. Torre de lago has alot of steps upto the entrance, which sometimes can be a little hairy after a quart of rum. I prefer Mirador! Good luck.
In February, I am looking to rent a one-bedroom apartment facing the water in either the Torre de Lago or the Mirador buildings for 5-nights. What did you pay per night to stay at the Torre de Lago and the Mirador?
Thanks,
Helpmann :)
Cartagena versus Thailand
Hello, Guys,
I am trying to pick next winter mongering destination. I am down to Sosua, DR and Pattaya, Thai. I was in Sosua last winter but never in Pattaya or Cartagena. I did like Sosua very much.
How does Cartagena compares to Sosua or Pattaya? I am looking for nice beaches with available and reasonably priced GFE pleasures.
What do you think, is Cartagena worth a visit compare to the other two?
Thanks
I have been to Thailand and Cartagena and I have to say that there in volume and price Thailand is WAY better, you can find all types of beautiful women in Thailand, prices are WAY lower than Cartagena, it is a Smörgåsbord of women. If I am a good man and god sees fit I want to go to Thailand when I die. All that said. Thailand is very far. The airfare from where I live is a few hundred more dollars, but you save that on volumes of pussy because once you get there hotels are reasonable women are cheap. $30 dollars will easily get you two hours with a gorgeous woman, $60 will get you two woman, . I like Cartagena. I will probably go back to Cartagena and I love Latinas. But if Thailand was any closer I would be there every weekend. Cartagena has gotten too expensive and the pickings are not as good as Thailand, Comparing Cartagena to Thailand is not comparing at all, Cartagena is a row of convenience stores: Thailand is full of Mega Malls of women.
