That solo Italian guy really did a number on Italy and we will see the numbers throughout Europe rise because of a single guy. The Iranians are doing a pretty good job too spreading the virus around the world from New Zealand to Canada.

The western media is killing my stocks with their fear mongering but I feel the number of cases is grossly under reported. I doubt Thailand has many testing kits outside of Bangkok. Even California is woefully short of testing kits. Also some sick people aren't getting medical help due to fear of being isolated by friends and family.

This is a long overdue market correction. I am now looking to buy certain quality stocks a little bit at a time. There are always opportunities when there is blood on the street.

Now if I die from the Bat Flu at least I will have died for a good cause, Poontang, but sorry, I think I will have my Line Address Book auctioned off on Ebay and the proceeds distributed amongst my favorite girls provided they show up at my funeral and put on a good show. I am really worried about a future Bangkok with almost no freelancers on street. FLs are usually dirt cheap due to a variety of reasons and their, almost, complete disappearance, from asok to nana is an extreme concern.

The takeouts from massage shops become expensive if one orders two a day. Ditto with bar girls. Freelancers used to be pretty good "fillers" and sometimes offered only chance to snag an amateur.

During my recent visit, the street scene was totally dead in Bangkok. Some of it could be attributed to corona and dearth of tourists, some to increased LE activity in Bangkok and Pattaya that I witnessed personally.

I wonder if there are any alternatives that can fill the void.

Couple of girls inside, including the one who'd opened the door for me.

Having read prices were [I]variable[/I], asked the price of a Singha. "150". "No thanks. " "OK, for you 100". "Fine, 1 Singha please. ".

As usual, a girl on each side, [I]Lefty[/I] rubbing my shoulders, [I]Righty[/I] my crotch. In the light, mentally dismissed [I]Lefty[/I], [I]r\Righty[/I] MAYBE a possible. First thing, A/C turned on. Great. 2nd, lights dimmed, well past subtle, down to "where's my headlamp" dim. OK, reasonable, as the girls are not the cutest. 3rd, tape started. Eagles. Fantastic, my type of music.

Same couch service, just went directly there. Same service type, decent BJ, though no SOL super technique, same no tissue box, get up, go to toilet, spit in sink, gargle, spit, gargle, spit. Perhaps tissue an unnecessary expense for the girl.

So, will the World replace SOL? Hardly, but certainly an alternate possibility to provide service if SOL is devoid of [I]attractions[/I]. Music is certainly enjoyable.

Blaming the media while I agree they love the drama especially the popular tabloid press and while a popular chant especially among populist politicians seeking reelection is in my humble opinion unfair. I agree with the notion the slump provides buying opportunities, here timing is the key, I unfortunately didn't see the magnitude of the sell off and started buying too early but I'm still buying. As the saying goes "this too shall pass".

And the cold shoulder from the better looking girls was every bit as bad as it has ever been. Very, very cold cold shoulder for this Farang. With girls I'd never seen or talked to before, new encounters.

In fact, was it my imagination, or was the cold shoulder from the better looking Thermae girls for this Farang last night WORSE than it has ever been? Unfortunately, I kind of think it was. A possibility: Has our Farang penchant for wanting, sometimes even negotiating for and expecting, DFK put us on a an even stronger "Avoid" list with these better looking Thermae girls in a Coronavirus World? I wonder. One might think Farangs would rise a step or two on the ladder of preference for these better looking girls at a time when a potentially deadly flu is more associated with Asians than Farangs. Nope. Not by my observation and experience last night. Just the opposite. Oh, I got smiles and responses from a few fairly good looking girls in the place. But very few.

Otherwise, Soi 4 was hopping busy with girls and customers at around 9:45pm last night and again at 2am. Nana Plaza itself was a bit slower at 9:45pm and 2am. At least in the open plaza part of it. I did not have time to go inside the bars. But there were certainly plenty of door girls and girls sitting outside the bars to confirm there were indeed a lot of girls working in the bars last night.

Yes, there were little to no signs of Vietnamese girls in their usual station in front of Hillary 1 Bar at 9:45pm. Presumably due to the recent foreign worker sweep in that area. But a few of them were still working the area on the other side of Soi 4 in front of Hillary 2 and thereabouts. Also several African girls sitting at tables along that stretch.

Was out at Chatuchak market, both last Saturday and this Saturday. Still hot, but the crowds are really DOWN. Now, mostly foreigners, very few Thais. Certainly bad news for the businesses there, but does make it a lot EASIER to get around.

If taking the Metro, don't do like all the newbies and get off at Chatuchak Park stop. Today, watched most get off at the Chatuchak Park stop. Wait until the next stop, Kamphaeng Phet. That lets you off basically inside the market, at the edge by section 26, the handicrafts section. Walk outside the metro entrance, and you're inside the market. Makes it easy for me to find my "start point", the Viva Bar26. Great place for a drink, both coming and going. Been stopping there for 20+ years. It's my reference point for my inertial navigation to other shops I know. I've learned to get business cards from the shops I buy from so that, in the future, easier to find, rather than having to do a grid search of the old days.
