I rarely see one holding out for the youngest, best looking men in the bar. And I see some lovely young things sitting in, say, Monsoon with farangs who look like they could be my dad. Possibly escorts or other dating site meet ups.

The cold shoulder for farangs (of any age) from the best lookers in places like Thermae or 2-3 go-go bars around town are exceptions.

And, as you have pointed out, some of that is due to the fact that the girls in venues with predominantly Asian clientele don't want to be seen flirting with or, god forbid, leaving with a farang for fear of being put on a "No Fly List" by their Asian customers overly sensitive about such things.

I moved to Thailand in my late 20's and I remember being mildly annoyed I was getting roughly the same quality girls, mostly from the same pool, as 50 year old Farang geezers (and I'm not talking rich or smooth ones). On the other hand, the thought that I'd have a similar privilege in my 50's was comforting. Alas, it was not to be.

I get a sense this goes beyond the dating market, that Thais in general respect Farang far less than 10-20 years ago. We have dropped a few rungs in the social hierarchy. In the past, Farang had a significant undeserved boost in status, right now we're about where we should be, but given the trend, I'm afraid in a few years we'll be too low for comfort, perhaps on par with where Indian men are today.

In an egalitarian society where casual racism is considered unacceptable, I wouldn't be too concerned. However, in a hierarchical place like Thailand, status matters way more than is immediately obvious.

Getting a steady stream of big breasted attractive Thai women on my fb account so they re about there looking for some kind of action. Can't be sure if they're pros or semi pros but will be fun finding out.

We arrived to Nana Plaza around 19:30, at that time girls still eating their dinner on balconies and more ladies arriving. Still happy hour so got a few cheaper beers in beer garden and watched people. Around 20:30 more farangs coming in and we moved to:

Other couple was faster however suddenly 2 other girls came to us, one asked me to dance (I agreed) and the other sat next to my boyfriend and asked if I don't mind which I didn't. After a few seconds of dance with my lady she started to kiss me, very sensually and very good technique. She sat on my lap and we cuddled. Unfortunately she was in swimsuit and her bra was heavily padded so too small boobs for my taste, the other one trying to warm up my boyfriend however she was not pretty at all and a bit pushy. You could walk the length and not see any foreigners. Last year, I swear, there were blocks when I didn't see any THAIS, and this was pre-virus. Walking down lower Sukhumvit 25 years ago, you passed a Thai girl (not P4 P, but civilian), smiled, and you got a smile in return. Now? Like any big, modern city, other people are just blobs of meat to go by as you're on the way somewhere. No eye contact, no smile, or at least a lot less. Don't want to fully blame mobile phones, but certainly less person to person. A number busy on their phones.

I have spent time in East Asia. There is definitely an attitude among many of those guys that they don't want girls who have been infected by whitey. In my observation, it is rare to see the best looking girls (by today's standards) in a go-go bar even approach the youngest, fittest customers in the place, much less walk out with one. Their leaving with men clearly in their 50s or 60s is commonplace.

There are also a lot more young farang dudes. But most are not at all interested in p4 p. I do see some young farang dudes with some very good looking gals, but for the most part I see them with gals I wouldn't give a second look to. They are dating at the same level they would be back home. Sad.
