The problem is that once you pay that amount, the girl will keep asking.
However, be patient. As Dev mentioned - 2 k is the rate. They will agree, especially if you are a reg. They also understand its much better to ask for 2 k and get a repeat client rather than ask for 3 k and never see them again.
