Yes what people forget is that economics theory almost always assumes the "rational actor" baseline model.
Which makes sense most of the time.
But not all of the time, and especially less so in the P4 P world because sex isn't a "rational act" to be meted out like a product or commodity.
Sex causes irrational acts like crimes of passion etc.
You get the idea.
It is my opinion that the P4P scene in Thailand is always a "Buyers Market", but most of the girls and customers don't know it. LOL.
The girls always desperately need money, always owe much more than they've got, are always under pressure to provide for children, parents, brothers, sisters, etc., all of whom are also far in debt to dozens more.
We always have plenty of discretionary funds for fun by Thai standards and most of us want the most Value For Money we can get, many of us spend hours per day and night searching through the lineups for gold.
You would think the girls who are lucky enough to bag a customer would be clawing at the unyielding Earth with their bare hands to give the men they are with the most fabulous, memorable, Up To You sessions any man could wish for.
You would also think more customers would open their mouths and mention at least 2-3 things in a negotiation that they expect to get for the money rather than just trying to shave off 500 baht or so from the girls' asking price.
But nope.
Will a two week bar closure notably improve the dynamic for customers? I doubt it.
