Unless one of us has ever been infected with this or that disease (I haven't) and knows whom he got it from, the girls are certainly not going to declare they 're a dangerous proposition.

On the one hand, I think some participants in forums like this one are too dismissive of STI risks, and engage in kidding themselves. To answer your question directly, both HSV-1 and 2 can infect other parts of the body, so strictly speaking it is possible for oral herpes to get onto your genitals, although this is rare. Generally speaking, it is rare or only theoretical for any STI to transmit through oral, but it can happen. I am pretty sure I got chlamydia once from oral. It's important when talking about probabilities to realize you can have that extremely unlucky roll of the dice on your first go. Unlikely doesn't mean impossible.

The flip side of this is to realize that if you have had or do have a reasonably active single and dating life, you have already been exposed to and possibly contracted HSV and / or HPV already. Depending on the modeling, between 4/5's and 1/6 of the population has HPV already. And between 1/4 and 1/10 have genital herpes. If you've had several partners already, one of them was absolutely carrying one or the other. But the majority of people infected never display symptoms or display mild symptoms that then go away permanently.

I keep both these things in mind and more when making my choices.

Hello All, apologies for being late posting and thanks to all of the members who helped! Special thanks to ExExpatriate who guided me to how to book for an outcall. It was my first time in Lisbon and had pretty good expereince, I won't lie! I had been to Thailand, I would say if you can streamline your selection of girls, you will end up with the best ones! Most of my recommendations on that line are not in Lisbon proper, but places like Alges and Linda-a-Vehla.
