Anyone else experience a anti-pornography block of this site by their ISP? I was just trying to access this site with my IPad using a 3G connection and got the dreaded anti-pornography page saying the site was blocked. An easy fix was to invoke my VPN connection to circumvent the block. Not sure if this is only blocked by Telkomsel via 3G as I haven't been able to try my broadband connection at home.
Anyone else getting blocked within Indonesia?
I am just back. I was also blocked in Jakarta at my hotel for the first time. But in Surabaya I havenīt had any problems to log in.
I will post my report within the next days.

No doubt there, but my recommendation was based on West Jakarta being largely unkown for the kind of funm the brother is looking for (unless you want to split hairs and say Hayam Wuruk and surounds are West Jkt., which they are, but are still a ways from Slipi). If he were to stay in Menteng/Thamrin area, there would be easier access to the delights of Central/South Jakarta (i.e the blok, Kuningan, Kemang etc.)
I stayed at Ibis Slipi several times and never had any problem taking one or more girls to my room.
If you do a search for Indonesians, it comes up with vids of girls from India.
I do look at ISG when I'm in Asia. I enjoy the photo galleries and great info offered by fellow mongerers. I also go on this site to post photos, etc. on my adventures while there.

If you try looking out for Indonesian girls on youporn from USA or Europe, then you get Japanese girls. But when you login from Indonesia or any other part of Asia, you get some good ones with a variety. I tried from USA while I was there and could not locate any Indonesian girls on you porn. I guess, they show whats uploaded in the region. And there are a few full length videos too. The reason I looked at it is to show the girls with me before inspiring them to get on to the act.
Cheers

No flame intended. I'll have to give running a video a try. I was always puzzled - why? -when in Manila and Bangkok, venders were trying to sell me porn videos.

I was in the Melawai area at exactly five (or was it six? Anyway, when shift change at Maribaya happens), and I saw a whole bunch of the girls come out a side entrance. Grinning, I sort of quietly followed a bunch of them as they went wandering to see where they went - it was straight over to the dvd guy, where I saw them browsing and asking the guy for porn. Is this professional development? Are they acquiring the dvd for training purposes? Or do they really feel that after a hard day's shagging, the best way to relax is watching other people doing the same thing? At least that way, somebody else is doing all the hard work!
Incidentally, I was quite impressed that about 50% of the girls still looked tolerably ok, even in natural light, if that's what you could call it in Blok M at that time ...

I have not visited V2 Spa, but the location, in Merlin Plaza, used to have a spa that I visited frequently. The area is middle class or below, so do not have great expectations (not exactly what you requested, but all I have).
I would be interested in reading a report about V2 Spa, however.

Indonesia road Trip PII
Not much to report here guys.
Spent the day down at Sunda Kelapa
organised in evening to meet Mr Movie guy & more girls.
went to Luv Bar. Not really into the dj/club scene?
couldn't work out the hostesses from the Movie guys ladies.(My bahasa is not that good)
All these chain smoking beautiful people seemed to descend on the table ordering drinks like flies on a fresh turd.
Called it quits after about 3 hours
probably should have taken the girl next to me home but the cigarette lighting one after another put me off. foxy hostess was working till 4 AM, didnt want to wait that long.
tomorrow Semarang

Hotels and Immigration
I do maintain an apartment in Jakarta but I do not like to take the ayam back to my building as it can be worse than the walk of shame to the 6th floor Melawai. While I am registered with immigration with my apartments address. If I check into a hotel in jakarta or anywhere in indonesia will this show up on my immigration records. Since the girlfriend handles my immigration documents this could pose a problem. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check if your one night stand owns a KTP which what she can check in. I did it in the past to get the pribumi-rates in hotels before I got one myself.

I've yet to see anything turn up on my passport or immigration record wrt to hotels I've stayed in short of what I fill out in the immigration form. Even then I have ended up staying at a different hotel from the one I wrote in the immigration card due to non-availability - but nothing has ever been mentioned regarding this. Has anyone had any different experience to this?

Incidentally, during my last trip, I did get my girl to check in on my behalf and purchased the voucher at Indotel in her name - saved me 200k rupiahs a night for a two bedroom unit in Puri Casablanca. But I also told reception that should anyone call, the room was in my name and there was to be absolutely no mention of her name. They sorted that out without blinking an eye.:)

Having left Jakarta a week ago, I'm curious - can one currently fly in and out of there, or is the Ash from Mt. Merapi playing havoc with the international flights at present?

I had a friend fly to bali and she got there fine yesterday . The ash cloud at about 20,000 feet is not affecting Jakarta but is just south of the city and this may change .

Saw a news report on CNA this evening where the director of operations at CGK (Soekarno-Hatta Int'l) was quoted as saying that all international flights are now 'seperti biasa'... not sure about domestic flights though.
