J.J. Mahoneys - Crimminy! Saturday night the place was packed with young turks looking to get lucky. For the life of me, I couldn't discern the pros from the non-pros. To me, the disco side layout is more diverse and spacious, I enjoyed the scene there quite a lot. As far as the jazz side goes, I was very disappointed to find no areas to mingle per se: they put the stage behind a bar fronting some booths and a corridor in between. Mingle where?

I was expecting a laid back hotel bar scene, what I got instead were wall-to-wall affluent young turks posing, desperate for hookups. Granted, it's a very good crowd good venue with some real beauties on parade but didn't seem ideal to p4p.

I don't think anything has ever been posted on those places. Seoul really isn't a big international destination, so I doubt there would be much action in the hotels here, and if there is, it's probably geared towards the Japanese, since they seem to visit Seoul the most. I don't think I'd want to have to compete with Japanese mongers; one would need to be a big tipper and hung like a stud-flea to get any action.

Having just returned from a trip to Holland, where I was able to make time for a couple of FKK visits on and across the German border, I'm now gumsmacked by what's on offer elsewhere. But from my one visit to Itaewonland, I'm certain the place doesn't harbor fudge packers. No way. It was chock full of Korean families and positively oozed a 'neighborhood spa' vibe. From inside there's no hint of a foreign district surrounding the place so I doubt seriously they'd tolerate sodomites in their midst.

Part of the reason why I'm going for it. Two years of intensive mongering in Bangkok spoiled me - I'm not interested in lots of action so much as I am in simple transactions.
