I am going to soften my stance on using a rating scale for women
After reading the responses, I learned a couple of things. A few of us made the point that if two mongers were dialed in with the same opinions on attractiveness that it could create an undesirable state if they mongered side by side. In fact, if you can find a monger with similar tastes and your 8 is his 8, then there could be some utility about discussing strategies, prices, locations, etc. Nuts and bolts stuff. So a numerical rating system could have some utility in those situations. But overall I still say it's too subjective to be useful.

The Tall Man.[/QUOTE]Unless you are being sarcastic. First of all, the Victoria Secret (VS) model is a "type" (tall, lanky, skinny, etc.) that some guys find more attractive than others. And within the group of VS models, I definitely do not consider them all equal. So right out of the starting gate, you fall flat. For you, it's true. And I bet you find a bunch of guys who agree. In my inner circle of friends, there is one guy who is so biased in your direction, that if we see a VS looking girl, we say something to him like, "Look Rob, there's your type. " But he's the only one getting off in our little group on that, know whadda mean? In fact, my girl Secret who may or may not get your stamp of approval which is irrelevant, is his favorite. She loves their underwear and wears it all time, quite well, which is one of the reasons she has that nickname. And I don't give out tens which by definition, is purrfekt, but that's another story. Keep On Keepin' On.

Tougher Grading Scale Than Me

Here in Medellin over the past 10 years I have encountered a handful of beautiful women, probably 3 that have stood out in 10 years and maybe close to a thousand encounters.
So using the new VS as a baseline the best most beautiful woman I have been with in the all of Colombia has been at best an 8 on the scale.
Typically I weekly have a few 5's, a few others who are 6 to 7's and seldom an 8 and never ever a 9 or above and this is in 10 years and a thousand encounters including the clubs, the mall, the FB chicas, the high end clubs and discos and everywhere else including the elite clubs / bars of high end Bogota bars.
As this VS photo shows that to be a 10 is a complete anomaly as you need height, above 5'-10" minimum, lean body / MBI, shapely legs and body with a perfectly symmetrical face. There are perhaps a few thousand women in the whole planet of 8 billion people who fall into this category. This is what is needed to be a 10.

The Tall Man.[/QUOTE]I agree 10's are rare and even 9's too, when you get down to 7's that starts to become fairly common. Here is my scale of 1-10 from 5 up:
5 - Completely average looking, not ugly or attractive, no impressive tits or ass, etc.
6 - Slightly cute on average, to some maybe average to others maybe attractive, might have better than average tits or ass.
7 - The general attractive person, may still look average compared next to a model type, more than likely nice tits or ass, if lacking curves then stronger in face.
7. 5 - This starts getting toward the attractive people who are more fit, well groomed, nicer body tone, getting towards more really nice tits or ass.
8 - This is a bona fide all around good looking person, in top shape, probably with a really desirable ass and / or fits.
9 - This is the level of good looks where becoming a model or actor happens, great hits and ass, good height, all features sound.
10 - the best of the 9's, perfect shape, perfect height, 6-2 to 6-4 for men, 5-7 to 5-9 for women, great tits, ass, lips.
