East China - Shanghai

The core area of Shanghai is not that big. If you are staying near the Exhibition Centre, it is not really that far away from Xitiandi. You can still take a cab and get there within 20 or so minutes at night.

I'd recommend Heting. It's the quintessential Shanghai 1930's experience I think. Classy design, extremely well trained and well behaved girls, feels like an upmarket opium den inside and sometimes they even play some classical Chinese music in the room. You can almost imagine you are back in the mad old days of that time.

Fantastic experience which makes up for a generally lower standard of girls. But if you just want a hottie, go for Waves or other recommendations on the board. You might try both if time permits.

In a lot of cases, a WG would be cheaper than wining and dining a 'civilian' girl here. WAYN is a travel oriented website, but it's possible to hook up there as well. You are right about no pic posting hampering your chances on a website.

Nevertheless, I am not having my picture taken by thieves, scammers or people building profile databases for "dating" web sites. And I assume that there are plenty of all of the above in China.
