In foreign countries you might get lucky. Especially with the country accused of spreading the Bat Virus, no offence meant here.
I guess the best practice would be.
1. Visit only Medium to High end spa. Do not go to MP. Especially ones that offer local chics. Since these local women mostly live in hotspot / containment zones, (overcrowded complexes / chawls).
2. Insist on inspecting the massage room before you pay up. Tell them you want to check sanitation levels; At times they would be alarmed when you asked for a tour of the spa, but convince them as to why you want to do it.
3. Buy a disposable mask before you enter the spa (do not use your regular mask), use the disposable mask all throughout your stay at the spa, and throw it once you're done.
Do not remove it, DFK can wait for post COVID times;.
4. Carry a small Dettol or any antiseptic soap. It hardly costs Rs 10. Take a nice shower post your session;.
5. Lastly, sanitize your hands as you leave the spa. I'm sure they would be having a bottle of sanitizer at the counter.
These are few tips to monger safe at a spa. Maybe others can add a few more points, in case I have missed out on any.

If you are getting into mongering just to lose the tag, I would suggest you not entering it. You'll get enough opportunities later in life. This is a one way street. You can't leave it.
If you haven't had any exp before would suggest you start with a spa. Loads of them mentioned over here. Ease into it may be start out with a B2B and HJ and move to all the way gradually. Same thing with a good indie would be heavy on the pocket.
Do not under any circumstances go to NL, ch. Don't let that be your first time.

I know usually these kind of requests are flat ignored but still giving it a shot. I will be in Mumbai and Pune next week. Have some room to entertain and get entertained at the same time.
