I second the ice pronouncement
Immodium also works well. In fact all the Filipinas I know are very familiar with Immodium. I will tell you that when I lived ther I had cause / reason to have a study done on the ice that was being delivered to restaurants. The ice blocks that you see falling around the back of a dirty truck floor. All I can say after seeing the study is that I wouldn't take ice in my drinks EVER again, unless I knew its source. And don't beleive that hotel ice is as pure as your gf's puss. Many hotesl do not have enough supoly so they buy ice from the same ice block vendor in pretty cube shapes. Don't trust ice!
My votes for the culprit go first to ice and uncooked vegetables. I can't prove it's true, but a seasoned freelancer at the old LA Cafe (Now MBC) insisted she'd gotten sick from a mixed drink at LAC and believed they were using unfiltered water for the ice. I always ask about the ice, and if the place seems a little dodgy, like MBC, I take only bottled beverages or ask for no ice.
I have often gotten diarrhea during my Phils visits, and finally concluded maybe it was from "fresh" salads in which lettuce and other ingredients had been washed in tap water. I think it's unlikely that most restaurants use filtered water to rinse vegetables. I just left the Phils and, against my better judgment, had a garden salad in an Aussie-owned place the night before I left. It now appears it was a big mistake. I had managed to avoid any such ailment for nearly three weeks. It's tempting to see if my body can fight it down-and maybe thereby build up some immunity, but I do need to be able to function on a daily basis so will probably end up getting some cipro or something similar.
What are Angeles bargirls really like?
May I ask a general question, and I hope this is not silly.
I am 50, 6'1, athletic. 200 pounds, white, not bald, greying hair, American.
If I were to visit Angeles City this summer, what type of reaction could I expect from the bargirls there? I would like to spend my time with pretty girls aged 18 to 22 who will truly shower me with love and affection. GFE in short.
Of course I am happy to pay the standard fee which I understand is between $25 and $75 US dollars per night.
What can I actually expect? Also is August, being a raining month with fewer tourists, a preferable time to visit?
I have this image of sexually insatiable, nubile Angeles bar girls, however I wonder if this is a myth or not.
Crackdown finally pays off for Philippines
Throwing the Swedes running the cam sites in jail and raiding the bars finally got the Philippines removed from Tier 3 status.
