Just read in a German newspaper that the infection rates have dropped for three consecutive days and vaccinations are starting to rapidly increase with over a million people (1% of the population) vaccinated in just a day.

Very early days I appreciate but this data followed the same trend that occurred in the UK during the early days where now the levels are down to minimum figures.

Should we start to get optimistic?

As I said if it continues to follow the UK trend Germany could be 2/3 months away from fully reopening.

I'm feeling a little more optimistic that just maybe I will see the sun in the Sharks garden late summer?

For now the argument is that if restaurants can't offer dining inside, why should brothels be allowed. The position of the federal government was that they defer the decision to cantons, but if prostitution goes underground it just hides what is happening since no contact tracing is possible. Canton ZH will review the situation end of May.

Around here it is fashionable to strut and chest thump in macho bullshit but not all females are high maintenance. At least in the Western nations (or perhaps I should say US with which I am most familiar), there are millions of women making great money and more than their partners. I personally know many. One of my best friends was a managing director at Goldman who retired by mid 40's and is now taking care of kids at home while his Physician wife is making good money. One of the partners at my firm is a female and is a self made millionaire. My own spouse makes several times the national average income. I hate the feminist BS about putting restrictions on mongers as much as anyone else but that is besides the point when it comes to respecting women as equally capable persons in today's society. When I was young many many years back, demography was a important concern and many specialists were emphasizing that 5 billions is the maximum before the problems will start. I didn't wait Chinese or UK killers, to make my office in my car which is also my fast sleeping bed, multi functions driver seat, for working, eating, sleeping I love with my friends bicycle or ski, I will take both on this Summer, driving sometimes but much less since covid, just not for toilets, but easier for guys.

I suspect many people here probably already saw the Bill Gates TedTalk from 2015 where he discussed (predicted / warn) about this coming problem, 5 years before it happened. Sadly, instead of giving him credit for putting facts and trends together in order to make a solid prediction, it led to many conspiracy theorists claiming that he purposefully caused this pandemic.
