Some were just sitting alone the whole time and never took a girl. And there were many lookers among the girls last night.

I had noticed earlier this late 30's or so Farang customer had a long conversation with a mamasan before she brought him a girl. The rare one in the line up willing to go with a Farang? Who knows. I would say she was clearly among the less atractive girls in the bar, a bit older and less fit than most of the other girls. Assuming these are Asians who live / work in Bangkok or a select few tourists who currently have Visa amnesty and can stay in Thailand indefinitely.

But that would be true of the Farangs in the bar too. And I do see Asian men walking out of Nana Plaza with girls they have apparently just barfined. And going in and out of the ST rooms in the Plaza. Just not from that bar last night and it had a high percentage of good looking girls compared with other bars.

You are telling me that you live in BKK and you have not thought to arrange a hook up with Go Go girls in the afternoon or on their days off?

The Go Go's are an excellent source of new girl material, but you must be willing to make the initial investment, so to speak, to get the ball rolling. Go! Find who you like and pay up (2500+800). Consider the barfine a finder's fee. If all goes well on the initial night in question all future meetings with this girl and her girlfriends can be easily arranged at your apartment thus cutting the bar out of all future arrangements completely. The cost minus the barfine finder fee would then be approximately 2500 bhat which is less than ceiling price you are willing to pay. Yeah, some girls might still want 3000. I think the suggested prices to encourage more customers for the go-go bars, to keep them open, solvent and competing that I have read here are too high for what passes for Short Time service standards these days.

Even before Covid the girl in the pics below was the level of girl one could get online or just meet on your travels around town for 2,000 baht (plus 200-300 tip for travel to and from perhaps) Long Time starting as early as dinner time and going until 11am or 12Noon the next day with no barfine and no Ladydrink purchases required. And after a brief exchange that costs absolutely nothing, BBFS+CIP and/or BBBJ+CIM, at a minimum, can be agreed upon. If not, it still costs absolutely nothing to move on to the next one.

And this girl is no rube. She is friends with other girls who work in go-go bars like Rainbow 2 and 4 who have ongoing Japanese repeat customers and boyfriends they met there. So it isn't like she just left the rice fields and has no idea what kind of money she could make working in one of those bars. She prefers the freedom of not working in one, that's all.

Now, I am not one of the Master Punters here who routinely gets the top girls from the best go-go bars for 700 baht ST or 1,000 baht LT all in with BBFS+CIP provided as the norm without a gesture or word of discussion or objection about it. No, I am just a simple 67 year old country boy trying to make my way in the big city. Hence, the rates and negotiated service level I cited.

And I will not pretend this girl would be a top girl in the best go-go bars. She is not tall, does not have big boobs and does not have snow white skin that makes Asian punters drool. Imo, in the new world of dating site hook ups and especially under the current economic conditions, the go-go bars and the girls in them need to really up their game if they want to compete with what is available out there.
