There are dozens of brothels, escorts, and streetwalkers in Sydney. I would concede that streetwalkers are the best thing in Sydney. Quality girls walk Darlinghurst street, but its a bit illegal to solicit a prostitute so that makes this a risky proposition. I was almost shocked to read how bad some view the mongering scene in Oz. I've only been there twice on business - in October 2005 and again this March. I owe a couple of reports from my more recent visit.

Overall as an American, the things I was struck by were:
