I prefer flats (apt) for different reasons. Among them I may list the following ones:

1) You can cook your own meal. I especially like to do my own breakfeast and sometimes fix a light lunch. Prosal mentionned Mercure (Excellence) which is located near Bomboa. Beside a nearby metro station (Clinicas) there's a Pão de Açucar (supermarket) on Teodoro Sampaio and another grocery store (I don't remember the name of that one) on the corner of Teodoro Sampaio and Oscar Freire.

2) Guests are allowed

3) Very large and multiple wardrobe

4) You have the feeling of being at home because there are several; rooms in the apt.

5) les expensive than an hotel but with the same services (pool, wireless Internet, TV sets, etc.)

What kind of weekly or monthly rates for these apts?

I'll be posting my experiences from the past several days in SP in the next few days while I get a few few hours. And my thanks again to Sui Generis, JW Capp and Patrick here for there invaluable info. If you are thinking about a SP mongering trip go back and read their posts in this forum as a starting point (IMO). Thanks again guys.

Quickly, I wanted to note my exceptional experience with Andrelly from Club Models at Hotel Lido yesterday (Saturday). The lady is a knockout and a real sweetheart. Here is a summary I have made from the various postings.

Cafe Foto: R$190 entrance fee, no exit fee.

Bomboa: R$180 entrance fee, $R100 exit fee (to take a lady to my hotel).

Scandallo: R$150 entrance fee, R$180 exit fee (to take a lady to my hotel).

The following applies to each club equally:

-The fees for the ladies are about $R300 for an hour or two and up.

-Some ladies may speak english, but most won't.

-The ladies range from 7s to 9s.

Anyone disagree or want to comment on the above?

Fully agreeing! Most of them even have an inhouse restaurant.
The "home" feeling is second to none, offers the chance to warm up in a living room environment before moving straight to bed for the action.

As I mentioned some recent reports in this forum (Sui Generis, JW Capp and Patrick1) led me to those locations. All the ones I visited were located very close to Metro stops. I'll be exploring SP more in January.

For what I know the cachê is supposed to be R$200. By the way this is the standard rate for a 1h1/2 to 2h session with a free-lance garota in São Paulo.

A few seem to ask for R$300 or R$350 because I guess they feel they have something special to offer (like an amazingly bulbous butt). But I can't see the need to pay those rates, especially with the top-flight beauties available for around R$200. I also discovered some appealling, well-reviewed independents on GPG for R$120 to R$150 (for 2 hours) and checked out their blog site photos. And then there are the prives starting under R$100 for an hour. (I visited Redway R$80 and Clinica Antares R$150 /hr).
