Meanwhile, my current visa is easy, and renewal now takes just a week.

You may have noticed in the Thai tax topic that I don't plan to import a lot of money into Thailand next year, so that would screw up an application for a LTR visa.

Getting back to Brazil, I think I will stay in Copacabana with the Mexican lady, since she will probably come just once.
