It's obvious that a monetary gift was expected, but Chinese girls don't feel proper asking for it. And you took advantage of that. Need I say more?

After reading several reports on this thread about this place I decided to try it out. Not really hard to find if you put together the information after RTFF, you can find the address in pinyin and the name of the hotel in Chinese characters. Actually the place sits on the north bank of the river, some four blocks east of the White Swan hotel ( this being on the south bank of the river). As you walk in the hotel to your left hand side there is a reception desk for the Spa, the girls there directed me to an elevator to the right of the entrance, although I notice many people changing shoes for the ubiquitous pink or blue slippers of the saunas, I obey and went to the elevator ( mistake for mongering purposes) and went to the fourth floor. There a bubbly girl greeted me ( so things started to look good) and show me the massages menu. Decided for a traditional Thai with hot stones and the works (498 rmbs.). Was sent to a nicely decorated room ( too nice for special services, I thought). Then came Kitty ( no number) good looking and extremely nice. Gave a great massage but no other service was offered, always very polite and covering my naked xiaodidi and never getting even close to an accidental contact with the guy. So I paid my dues and left happy but unsatisfied, if you know my meaning!. So I guess the mistake was to go into the Spa rather than directly into the Sauna, where I understand there is special services offered. The Thai oil massage is really worth the buck tough. To your mongering content I will report later how my evening ended at my hotel room with a fresh star.

As promised I continue with my report of my evening in GZ. Not been totally satisfied with the massage experience at the SPA, on the way to my hotel I decided to give Sam, my service provider, a phone call to get me some soft skin. Sam is somehow reliable, you can find him hanging around the Garden Hotel giving away his business cards, claims to have hundreds of girl (don't them all). Anyhow I have used his services in the past and have been reasonably satisfied. During my past stays in GZ I have selected the Royal Hotel, four star, well located, with large Business suites at 850 rmbs. Tax inclusive. Very girl friendly, since it has a KTV and Club on the 3rd. And 4th floors so no hassle for late night visits. So different form the 11 pm army like curfew at the Garden Hotel. The girl that he send me was a young starter (too young for me though) but it was late and wanted to go to bed soon so I took her up. The service provided was in a rush, several calls from the mama san to move faster, since my language ability is limited no way to argue with the girl. Beautiful young and soft p***y, that left me happy and ready to sleep. Total damage 500 rmbs (Sam always offer this rate for a 2 hour service, but as mentioned the girls are always in a rush-rush).

I have been to Guangzhou about 10 times before, but I never did much mongering since my next stop is always Bangkok through Hong Kong. No need to spend extra money and effort here. But this time I decided to give it a try.

I stayed at Guangdong International as always, because the company I work for gets very good rates from this hotel. The location is nice but I can't say it is a girlfriendly hotel. You can't bring girls after 11 pm. It has a massage place but you can get only massage there nothing else.

I decided to try the street walkers on the street where Starbucks is. It is very close to my hotel. Went there but there were to few choices bacause it was early. I decided to go to the pubs on the opposite side of the main street near the mall. Sorry can't remember the name of the mall, it is about 300 meters left of Guangdong International. The pubs that I am talking about are between the mall an the Guangdong International hotel. I occasionally go there to watch soccer.

I knew that there are oftentimes working girls in these pubs. It is a nice place to fish. There are no ladies drinks and no hidden charges. But the girls are a bit pricey for China.

Met with a nice looking lady there. Actually she approached me first. She had very nice English maybe better then mine. LOL. She was a decent looking girl but not very young. I bought her 2 drinks and spend about 1 hour together talking about everything. When I started wondering if she was a working girl or not, she told me that she can come to my hotel room if I wanted. We negotiated the price and it was 600 RMB for ST.

Went to the hotel and to my room. She looked little older then I tought in bright light. But the sex was exremely good. After 2 hours and 2 shots she asked me if she would leave or not. I had a lot of things to do the next day and told her that she should leave.

One of the best lays I have had in Asia. Took her phone and definately will see her again later.

Could you please give me some more information on the hotel (like address or maybe a picture). I found 5 hotels named Royal in Guangzhou.
Any of you guys have experience in Grand Hyatt or Ritz Carlton?
I will be there during the fair and the choices are not so many any more.
I need a GF hotel!

I came yesterday to Garden hotel. Found the Cave, did not hook up with some older chicks for 700. Went to TinJuan massage center other side of Garden hotel if you look from the Cave. Fabulous place, sauna, very good quality food buffet and body massage with HJ for 311 is not bad but I would like to find a full service spa, I guess it does not exist in GZ?

I let you know if I find something.

Did you find any non-Chinese girls in the cave? I am wondering if there are Russian girls in GZ somewhere to find...

Last year, when I was in GZ, I tried my luck on the streetwalk. I found a girl and after some drinks in a nearby bar, I told her that I enjoy having sex with more than one. She made a few phone calls and brought another two girls. One of them was really good looking. If I remember well, I paid 2000 for all 3 of them.
I didn't try to find any full service spa, but from my experience in much smaller cities of China, I can hardly believe that there is no full service spa in GZ!

Directly at the river (close to the white swan) with very stylish and clean rooms. Right now I have a room with jacuzzi next to my bed. Lan (900 kb/s download) also free. By the way you also have probaly the nicest SPA in GZ in the Hotel (4 Floors only for that)

Price: 438 RMB. Any complains? Possibly it will lift up the prices during canton fair, but every hotel does. Never had problems with bringing in girls. It's just a 20 RMB ride away from Garden Hotel

Did not see any non-Chinese in the Caves, but next to China Marriot Hotel there is a McDonalds, there are allways some SWs, I think good quality for the price, Chinese for 350 and russian for 1000. Did rest of the trip so that took taxi every evening to CMH (10 RMB or so), pick up 1 or 2 and drove with another taxi back to Garden.

I was a member here long ago, but over time I had forgotten that this was different than the another forum, so I'm glad someone reminded me. I have been traveling all over China for 18 years, but so much has changed. Anyway, I have an upcoming trip to Guangzhou for the Canton Fair, as well as trips to HK, Shanghai, Shenzhen, etc. In the past I've stayed mostly at The China Hotel (Marriott) and The Garden Hotel in Guangzhou. Now that the show is entirely at the new convention center, any clues on any good hotels or hot pick-up spots nearer the show is appreciated. Also, does anyone know if the old pick-up club at The China Hotel (The Catwalk) remains? On my last visit there, the club seemed to be "temporarily" closed. THANKS!

Thanks for the info. I booked a business deluxe room for 1680 RMB. If any of you are looking to book this hotel online, maybe you will not succeed. I don't know why, but I could not find this hotel in the well known hotel reservation sites, so I booked it through their email booking service.
I will report on my experiences from this hotel!
