You were generous with your tips. The barfine is all inclusive and no tip is required. (Although I am sure the ladies appreciated the tip).
Having said that, of course it is up to you whether you tip, and how much. Personally, I tip a trike fare for them. I also buy a dress or two (about 350 P at the stalls opposite tropix/agasaya) for a long term barfine. (I figure it is more GFE to buy something for them than to just pony up some money). You are absolutely right that it is about how you treat the girl.
Mo's is in a good location, however there are plenty of others, so don't be afraid to experiment in your next trips....I am sure there will be many. Once is never enough. :)
Did you try the Tequila Reef just down the (side) road? I thought their food was better than Mo's.

I failed to mention first thing when I land and many of the afternoons, I head to Santos for a BJ, which takes the edge off. Therefore during my night time hunt, I'm not out fully loaded. This will stop you from needing the first pinay who snuggles and rubs up against you. Once they realize you aren't desperate for their time, their attitude chances, at least to me it does. Coming back the next day, tells them you really wanted to be with them and if she still is as friendly as the first meeting you two now have developed a repore. For me, as I said, has just about guaranteed a GFE.

In January I will be making my second trip to Angeles.
My first trip there was very frustrating and left me with a bad taste about the place. First of all I should say that I dont mind runners as I never take girls long time so that is no problem for me. What frustrated me was the Cherry girls and the Menstrating Girls. I found that all the pretiest girls are either Cherry Girls or if they say they are not Cherry girls then when it comes to leaving they say they cant because they are menstrating...it seemed so frustrating to have to constantly choose from all the second tier girls (although some of them were quite nice).
I am 39 years old and in good shape and do very well with girls in Asia usually and I am generous. Just wondered what others thoughts are on this cherry girl/menstarting issue.
Do you just ask them right up front if they are menstrating (or supposedly menstrating, my guess is that are not actually).

Wow, having read back through a few of the posts I may have to cancel my Angeles trip...i noticed this "men" problem 3 years ago at which time no one else seemed to agree or notice it...it must be truly chronic now for so many to be commenting on it

Magaritha station is much better, Swiss chalet is much better. Although girls like their pizza I prefer (if ever I want to eat one) the pizza served at the carousel bistro.Molly Malone was great with their buffet. Shanos has good and tasty food also. I only eat at Kokomoz if I dont have a choice, example if I meet a girl for the first time I invite her to places I seldom hang out.
To defend Kokomoz. The food is much better then the crap I get in the mall during my lunchbreaks, but it aint the best food among all the other hotels in AC.
I also wont stay in their rooms (to noisy), but everybody decide for his own.

When I'm serious about taking a girl out of the bar, I immediately locate the mamasan and invite her to sit down for a drink. I let her know what my expectations are and let her know that I'll be back with a report, one way or another. A small tip in her general direction upon my return has always been enough to guarantee excellent service. This tactic also assists me with the keeping the barage of girls off my ass as soon as I enter the bar as I really cannot stand that. Telling them to back off does no good. They will harass you and [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140][CodeWord140][/url] you off and they could care less because if you're not taking them, they don't care if you take anyone and just assume you you leave. Just a few sharp words from the mamasan in tagalag will do the trick. And if by chance the mamsan cannot contol the girls, then get the hell out of there. There's plenty of good bars with decent management out there. I usually tip the girls about 1/2 of the bar fine extra and they're always happy with that. I have never had a problem in Angeles, however Thailand is another story. More money and big dick phobia. I've actually returned to a bar for a refund of the barfine once when a bar girl refused service in the room. The mamsan refused. Careful with the beer bar girls across from Tony's Disco. Anyway, back to Angeles. Don't let the waitresses do that throat stroking crap which is supposed to alert you to buy them a drink. Screw that. I make my own party. I choose one lady, let her know that we're going barhopping and we're going to pick up a friend for both of us. If she's up for it, then she's a keeper and we're off. Lot's of fun if you have a plan. No fun if you fall into their traps.

Sometimes it is just their way of saying "no thanks" diplomatically. However, there is always the possibility that they really do have the mens.
If I find someone says that, I just ask "How long?". If they say three or so days, I will tell them I might come back then.
Usually by that time, I have found someone else. However, I figure that if she was really cute, then it does not mean a lot of effort to return to the bar and ask her again.
Alternatively, ask the Mamasan. I am sure that she knows the important dates.
Also, I have the attitude of letting them do the work. ie I show a bit of interest, but never buy a LD for anyone unless they give me the look first. Then while drinking together, I just enjoy myself talking to them and seeing if we connect. Only if we click do I then ask if they 'go barfine'. If we don't click, and they aren't making a lot of effort to hold my attention, I don't bother even with asking....or any more LD. I just move on to the next bar.
I am fifties, balding and a bit overweight and tip minimally if at all, but have a pretty good success rate with this method. I have had runners, but few only. Most ladies want to stay late next day. Letting the lady make the effort actually seems to make them feel better about the process for some reason it seems to me.

Returning a night or two later seems to create a kind of instant intimacy. The girl is usually surprised and pleased that you've actually come back to see her -- let's face it, there are plenty of other distractions, and most guys don't -- and it immediately moves things to a different level.
On the other hand, friends and I always talk about the Prime Directive: if you see something you really like, go for it then and there, otherwise you may never have the chance again. Maybe not the "best" food, but some suggestions; Margarita Station does a nice meal. Emotions Night Club/Touch of Class (same kitchen and owners) has good prices and you can watch the girls while you eat. "12:30" pizza is pretty good and they deliver. Hidden on the side street between Cherry's and Dr Holmes is Wobbly Boot, simple diner, but good food at an affordable price. Zappata's further up Perimeter is good for mexican. Next to Bada Bing on Perimeter there is a new Thai restaurant, not tried it myself, but many say it is good. In the new entertainment complex, next to the McDonalds on Fields is the Paradise Beer Garden, outdoor bar with good food. For less than 100 p there is a shwarma place across from Blue Nile. More expensive, but the ABC Hotel restaurant has good food if you want that upscale venue.

Taste in food is like taste in girls. What one person might think is good, the next person thinks is bad. I mean, I know some people who seriously think McDonalds is GOOD. (It is edible, but GOOD?)
