More updates and observations
Fridays Facebook date was 1. 5 hours late which I understand is fairly normal but it was pissing me off but it was around 7-8 on a Friday night and traffic was bad. Some observations and notes from the recent posts that I've read. My hotel is on the south end of LA 70 and it's only a 10 minute walk to the Estadio metro station. 3 stops and your at San Antonio station, 3 minute walk to Park Botero, no need to change trains and go the 1 stop, it's really close, just follow the overhead metro line. If your going to stay anywhere around LA 70, there is going to be noise until 4 am or so, being higher up helps but bring earplugs or be a heavy sleeper, I seem to have gotten used to the noise and can sleep with it. If your going to go out drinking, don't get drunk, only carry on you what you can afford to loose and "No dar papaya" as the saying goes. I do carry a cheap cell that I bought here in Colombia and have to use it at least once when with a girl as my spanish is not great, just be aware of when you pull it out and keep it in your pocket all other times and you'll be fine. Get a Civica Eventual card and put 20k on it from any metro station ticket booth, it will last a long time and shows how much left on the card everytime you use it. If you plan to take the tramway to Park Arvi it does cost more, 9k each way I think, so you have to load more on the card.

I've got 2 more days in Medellin and leave for the Amazon region on the 30th, I'll try to post any update in the Other Areas section of the forum. Got a manicure, pedicure and massage booked off of Mileroticos in 2 hours so we'll see how that goes.
