Nicely done Ebauche. The more I read of this guy's rants, the more I suspect he's an American redneck, as he expresses somewhat the same sorts of mindless bigotry and ill-informed opinions that I associate with them. His statements about Singapore are hilarious. I guess he's not read much on Cambodia or we'd be hearing his useless judgments about that country as well.

I think that Ebauche is correct in his asessment of Singapore.
I first passed through there in 1973. The Singapore of old. Wild, lawless, poveerty, a mess. If you had your pocket picked, and your wallet stolen, you would buy it back at the thieves market next day. Everything in it except the money.
Then Lee Kwan Yew came to power in 1974 (while I was at Ohio State) , and when I went back through Singapore in 1975, it was so clean that you could eat your breakfast off the street.
He set long term development policies for the country. No natural resources. So he capitalised on what they had. People and strategic location.
And today it is a powerhouse. Just go there, look at the industry, shipping, air, logistics hub. People live well, everything is clean and works.
I have enormous admiration for Singapore, and also Malaysia. Both followed the same model.
Turn poverty into wealth.
My friend just came back to Australia from a visit to New York. He said that even in fromnt of the ritzy buuildings in 5th Ave, there are people living in the streets, newspapers stuffed into the arms of their coats to keep out the wind.
No comparison.

Older, but not that old. Retired early. Earlier than planned. Likely because he lost his job or was forced into retirement. Couldn't find a new position at comparable compensation so retired. Either in public service / education or in manufacturing.
Divorced. Given the curmudgeonly crank was suddenly no longer trudging to the job he disliked and was now constantly underfoot yet not bringing home the bacon anymore, the Better Half decided to get rid of his ass. As a result, her lawyer took him for far more than he thought possible, but frankly for less than she deserved for putting up with his ass for so many unpleasant years. She might have been laying ground work for the split for quite some time with him unaware.
Retired now in far less splendor than he'd dreamed. Pension, but diminished since early and he either shares it with the Ex or he had to buy her out. Other investments are in the tank like all of us given global economy.
Looking to find somewhere to stretch his retirement $. And looking for a partner who will be both subservient & docile as well as capable of earning a reasonable buck to contribute to his retirement and their household. Ironically he's much like a Pinoy in that regard, seeking to live off of his mate's earnings.
Does have experience outside the USA, but more limited in reality than it is in his mind (compared to many who have traveled numerous continents and countries). But, he does understand the world isn't just like home. But he want to find the cheapest place he can that is as much like the USA as possible, without the expense or demanding American women, wants to live abroad, but unwilling to assimilate or blend in. Must be on his terms.
Gives Pinay chat girls money because he thinks he is being nice. Thinks he is doing it on his terms and that it will pay off "when" he finally makes his move.
He will never even visit the PI, much less move there. But he'll keep a few cam girls in business sending them money on his terms.
Just my guess.

I am an avid reader of the Philippines board, and I am saddened by the fact that so much time and effort is wasted addressing his grievances. HE SHOULD BE IGNORED.
I suggest that he start his own thread (which no one would ever read unless one were drunk and in a very foul mood). Whenever we needed to let loose a "fuck you asshole!" or "why don't you put a stick in your grandmother's ****?" we could go to that thread, write something terrible and decompress.
I have only been to Manila once. I believe the place is the best mongering spot on the planet. Non-pros and semi-pros (the ones I love) especially are easy there. The few pros I met were awesome.
PLEASE, IGNORE Turdycurdyone. Let's get back to the important business of exchanging information for men who are really interested in having sex with women.

I totally agree with makeupaname and Forest. While wasting time on debating with this idiot TC1, we are all missing out on what this forum is here for, discussing the great pussy available in the Philippines.
