Met some of the nicest, most stunning women on the planet. Also made friends with them and even fellow tourists and the people living there. My opinion of cheap mongers is at an all time low. Guys be nice to these people. they are in bad shape, help em out. My opinion of Colombia, it's way too much fun but be careful.
Just reading on that report about the OF girl asking for 500 mil. I live in a local market where black girls charge $500/ HR and white girls charge $1000/ HR. As tempting as it is to convert her 500 mil to USD and call it affordable, the chances are she'll treat you worse than a cheaper and equally hot girl who has less exposure than she does.
From my personal experience, within a market, more money only gets you hotter girls and not necessarily better service. Service and hotness are often (but not always) inversely correlated, not because a girl is hot, but because a hotter girl usually gets more exposure. Average girls with a lot of exposure can command more than a hot girl with low exposure. By having an OF account, that girl probably gets offers left and right.
Even if 500 k vs 150 k means nothing to you, you're still better off looking elsewhere unless service quality is also equally meaningless. 150 k mas taxi is enough to get you very good looking girls with great service.

It was also crawling with DEA boys but that sloppy stupid Secret Service agent who caused a scene put and end to those guys having any fun out in the open anyway. I also met a girl during that time period that I kept a semi pro girlfriend relationship with. I met her at what was then Elektra club. She would stay at my apartment for days and only charge me for an ST. She is married now, and naturally cut off contact with me after she got married to a Colombian who she went into the realestate development business with and they seem to be doing quite well.
With only four days I suggest you prepared with some type of orientation before you hit the ground. Below is a link that shows the list of different options SWs / Casas / Strip Clubs etc and the specially made map that shows where a lot of these places are. I suggest studying that. Medellin is so different from Cartagena because it is such a much larger city with so many different options scattered over a much larger area. One of the advantages to Cartagena is it is all compact and you can do everything now within walking distance. Albeit in 2010 when La Dolce Vita was in El Lagutio we would have to take a taxi to get to the clock tower and / or Elektra. Now even LDV is in old town so it is walking distance.

My advice if you are going to be there in a week is to send the friend request but send a message using messenger and tell them that you are going to be available on your given dates and would like to meet her. I think you have to stay longer to live that experience.

This is the magic of living in Colombia as I never know when my next off-the-charts magical connection will come but it does come and happens often, about once or twice a month.
So the best advice that I can give is to have little expectations and just allow the moment to appear and when it does Oh lord have mercy.
I had one of these the other night with a 22 yo paisa, off the charts.
