My savings have also steadily climbed since March even though I am paying more per babe compared to what I pay in my mongering destinations. The downside is the quality of girls compared to elsewhere (I like them slim and slender and that is a rarity here (1 out of 10)) but that is not a sufficient motivation for me to hop on a plane right now.

New guy here, saying Hello,. I just booked a one-way ticket to Bangkok for April 30. Between now and departure I will be booking an exit flight for some time in early August. I plan to stay at least 30 days in the city of Bangkok in an AirBnb. From there I might make some trips to other destinations but it's all ***. I need to figure out all of the visa stuff and do a bunch of reading here. I want to say thanks in advance for all of the information here on the board.

I took a trip to Medellin in 2019 so I have been minimally active on that board but otherwise, I am still quite new here on ISG.

I am all about adventure and learning as I go. Hopefully, I will be able to provide some value as well along the way.

My work in hospitals has led me to stay away from the hobby. I know from associates what hospitals are dealing with here now. My best regular girl is afraid to come over. I'll probably be in Tijuana 14 days after my second injection.

Second, since its your first time in thailand I'd suggest starting off at some of the more famous MPs to get your juices flowing and have an easier path in to the thai scene. The PSE ones: Tulip and Snow White are great for the PSE. Other notable ones like Mango, Bamboo, and Cherry don't offer quite as good service but generally have better looking ladies.

Lastly. 30 days straight in Bangkok for a new traveler is a hell of a lot. Unless you're in a non-stop monger situation, get out and explore, Bangkok is a hub so you can always get back easily. There's a TON to like about Bangkok, but it takes some time to learn and adjust to from the things that are bad about it, and the rest of the country is quite different and a big part of the trip. Most travelers to thailand--especially their first time-- limit the amount of time in Bangkok. But if you're mongering, of course its a major spot, along with Pattaya, which is only a couple hours away. A lot of people kinda hate bangkok when they first get to thailand, it can be a lot to take, but to each their own. I love it, but it took time to learn it and if I would have stayed there a month straight my first time in thailand, that would have sucked.

Thanks for taking the time. Yeah, I am excited and very much terrified but I have been wanting to do something adventurous like this for a few years. I am self-employed, so I will be working while there trying to ramp up my business. Essentially, I am selling all of my stuff and taking this trip to kick off a digital nomad lifestyle. I could fall on my face but I think it will be quite the learning experience about myself and a culture completely different than mine.

My plan is to arrive in BKK and do the quarantine period followed by a month-long stay in an AirBnb. This looks to be the most bang for the buck as far as comfortable housing is concerned. It will just be a matter of me researching a good spot. I would like to be close to BJ bars because I think I will be frequenting them most often. I tend to lean towards getting that release and moving on with my day. Probably play the tinder game along with it. No doubt I will check out your suggested bars though. I am not much of a drinker partier though so that scene doesn't appeal a ton to me. Maybe it will when I try it tho.

After the first 45 days, including the quarantine, I want to check out some other parts of the country and hopefully some islands or chang mai. I am all about exploring new places. Definitely not about staying in one spot just to monger. I want to have as many fun and eye-opening experiences as possible.

Right now I need to figure out if I can do the STV, COE, and ASQ now or if I need to wait so it's within a certain window before leaving.

I live just south of LA, but have been mongering on a weekly basis. Soooo many beautiful Korean girls here in SoCal. I know some that like to go south of the border, where it's about 50% cheaper than the kgirls. But service is usually nowhere near what you get with LA / OC kgirls.

The curfew situation does seem to be a mess. In the sense that a lot of the county officials are against them and are refusing to enforce them (e. G. Sheriff dept).

Best of luck to you, Fmc858. I've taken a trip there 3 times, last time being in Dec 2019. First time was definitely intimidating, but FUN! Got scammed a couple times (paid for LT, she stayed for ST). But you learn as you play.

Of course, there will be hurdles due to the pandemic. Hobbying scene's probably mellowed down quite a bit. Keep us posted. I'm sure it will help many other inquiring minds as well.

[/QUOTE]I wouldn't do the forms or ASQ bookings more than 30 days in advance because the rules keep changing. They are almost guaranteed to change again before April. You'll also have to redo the COE if your flights change.

Air-BnB might still be the cheapest option, but hotel prices have come way down.

It so up in the air right now, we don't know what that time of the year will look like. Booking anything that isn't fully refundable seems like just a guess at this point.

If you are doing digital nomad and want to explore and such, just pop into Bangkok for a a bit then move on to elsewhere in thailand then come back. Bangkok is a LOT to take for a first stop and you'll get mad at it fairly quickly. Check it out, go explore, then come back. Most tourists hate it the first time they arrive, and even now as a tourist, well, there is no tourism, so a lot of places that would be more open and lively for you won't be open.

All that said. Again, we have no idea what the situation will be in April / May with quarantine, and who knows what the tourist situation is. You may be experiencing a tourist-thailand that is quite different than the past until things ramp back up. Right now tourism is basically dead, and that's a huge draw for many people to the country.

Thanks, everyone. The consensus here and on other boards seems to be to hold off until March 1 at the earliest before starting to make moves with the COE, STV, ASQ, etc. Lots of acronyms there. Feel like I am in the office.

Either way, something to look forward to. I was previously thinking I would head back to South America because (IMO) the women there, specifically Colombia / Brazil / Argentinean, are at the top of the food chain. But I actually like the fact that Thailand has been more successful in controlling covid numbers. Plus, higher-end hotels and AirBnBs seem much less expensive in BKK and in the rest of Thailand.

And the fact that they have BJ bars. Seriously? Might never leave!

The best tip I can give you, is to see these girls for what they are: sex workers. (and I say that with all the respect in the world).

Just when we thought we were about to defeat Covid-19 by launching our Oxford vaccine, an alarming strain of the virus has emerged to strike fear into the ministers and experts fighting the pandemic.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock admitted yesterday that he is 'incredibly worried' about the fast-spreading mutant strain that has emerged in South Africa.

The new variant appears to have evolved weapons that may defeat both the Oxford jab – finally launched in the UK yesterday – and Pfizer's vaccine, which was first administered a month ago.

Hancock warned that the South African strain may cause even more problems than the strain first discovered in Kent and which is blamed for propelling the surge in infections currently crippling Britain.

Indeed, several countries – including the UK – have now banned all flights from South Africa.

The Health Secretary is not alone in his concerns. One of the Oxford vaccine team's key members, Professor Sir John Bell, has also expressed concern.

Nevertheless, cynics are swarming on social media to accuse Hancock of fearmongering in order to frighten the country into tighter lockdowns.

A cool look at the evidence suggests that Mr Hancock is wise to be alarmed. The South African mutant, '501. V2', has already been found in two places in Britain.

South Africa has now confirmed 1.1 million Covid-19 infections and almost 30,000 deaths since the outbreak began in March.

Doctors there are already struggling with the new strain, which seems to spread far more easily than its predecessors.

Swabs from patients there show that the mutant strain multiplies far more vigorously in the nose and mouth – which can make it easier to spread via talking and breathing.

This boosted virulence may also defeat robustly youthful immune defenses. South Africa's health minister has warned that 'young, previously healthy people are now becoming very sick'.
