Just to get there cost
Maybe you guys can help me to save some dough. Here's the list I spent last week just to get to the action:
$60 gas round trip I live in North of LA.
$10 Taxi round trip to from border.
$45 for AB motel all day pass.
$12 Bar drinks just to be sitting.
$16 two girls drink only for chat chat.
$8 Parking fee returning home.
$8 Jack in the box I was starving.
Total accommodation without girl cost $144.
I can get a nice local Backpage girl for $200 an hour just sayin'.
I usually pop twice or three the most so if you add $120 for one hour with a AB girl and a paradita another $35 +5 for room it comes to $319 for a half day Tijuana adventure.

But bro I think you answered your own question. With the backpage chick you are going to pop. With Tijuana you are going on an adventure. If all I cared about was popping I would get a girlfriend.

Gas is $50.
Taxi is $4.
Motel is $26.
Bar is $12.
Two girl drink is $20.
Parking is $8.
Food and snacks from XOXO in Tijuana is $20.
A chica from a club is $60. Two chicas from the alley totals $47.
This is a conservative estimate at $250. Which is why I am visiting once a month this year, down from once a week last year.

2. Take a little extra time to look around and find some street girls that suit your fancy. They're out there. Might not get the same GFE as in the bars, but if you find one that becomes a regular, she might eventually provide GFE.
I know, it's hard to stick with the SG's since so many of the bar girls are so hot. May the force be with you.

Tijuana is colorful, lively, exciting, exotic while most cities and suburbs in the US are just boring.

But your grand total is correct. Of course, there is no reason to pay double the half-hour rate for an hour, but I digress. Try this:
$6 cab round trip (50 pesos x 2) or Uber.
$25 for nice motel (that price will get you all day during the week or 4 hours on a weekend).
$6 for beer from OXXO (that's about the cost of a 6-pack in pesos, take it into the room with you.).
$1 tip for them to bring you an ice bucket with ice.
$8 parking fee.
$4 delicious street tacos or hot dogs and a soda, far better than JIB.
So far we're at $110.
$48 (800 pesos) Craigslist girl #1 minimum 1 hour
$88 (1500 pesos) Craigslist girl #2 minimum 1 hour
Now we're at $246. You've saved $73 so far. And if you pick an 800 peso girl for #2, you're $113 ahead. Even if you chip in a few pesos for her taxi fare you'll be at least $50 ahead. And you'll have been in a far nicer hotel room.
Best bet. Take your $4 taco cost, add it to your $73 savings and have a decent meal at one of the, oh, bazillion great food places in Zona Rio. You'll still come out about $50 to the good.
Also, get a SENTRI card, drive to the motel and save cab fare and parking.

It depends on what one wants. If a guy wants to get drunk on $5 beers in a strip club and have quickies in shabby rooms, it's easily doable and I say to each his own. If you're looking more for sex and the service, and not the club atmosphere, that's also readily available and for quite a bit less money. But either way is an effort for those of us who live in LA.
