How long does it take to get from Blok M to Kota by taxi and what fare should I be expecting to pay?

2. Regarding the bars in Blok M, it seems from the forum that Top Gun is the 'top dog' and the only other ones I seem to read about are D's Place and My Bar. Are there are any other bars? I enjoy 'bar-crawls' and would like to visit as many as possible in the name of research. Also, what time should I arrive? It seems that they are dead any time before 10pm?

3. I know that pricing is a delicate issue as there are so many different factors, like the girl, the time of night etc but it's my understanding that "correct prices for those in the know is 3/400k ST. 6/700k LT", is this right? I'm guessing that since I'm mid-30s, girls may think I'm a beginner and try to charge a vastly inflated price.

4. I'm a big fan of massage parlours. The best I have ever been to is Nataree massage parlour in Bangkok (never seen so many pretty girls in the same place at the same time) although I also loved the soapy treatment I got at Cristins in Phuket. It seems Jakarta has many good options:

- Another one of the 'must-visits' according to this forum is Hotel Classic for the two girl special. Without wanting to sound like a cracked record, what is the best time to arrive (for the largest selection of girls)? I've twice visited Edens in Bangkok which offers a similar service, although the second time there were only four girls to choose from.

As ever, I find planning the places to visit the easiest part. The difficult bit seems to be understanding the finer nuances, like time to arrive and the girls pricing mentality, so please forgive me all of of my questions. As I said earlier, I will certainly post a report on my experiences by way of thanks.

Finally, if anyone has any other tips or recommendations, please let me know.

Thommo decided that he wanted his site to be just his own words which is completely understandable. My Philippines diary was initially posted on his site (am I allowed to post a link?) but he recommended that I start up my own site, which is exactly what I did. Although it has my diaries from Thailand / Phils, the main bit of the site is the 'Secret Diaries of a Sex Tourist' weekly blog. Have you been reading? Sometimes it feels like I'm talking to myself on there.

I can speak Bahasa though so maybe that makes a difference. I do think the Flips speak english better than the indos. I won't say the indo hookers are better than the flip hookers in bed, but I will say that the indo hookers compared to the chicks on DIA are every bit as good in bed in my opinion. If you are saying indo hookers at places like hotel travel are lame fucks, I agree. In my experience, most of the north jakarta girls are like that.
