So that's why you see so many websites and such with the name "regio" but it doesn't mean they are all the same.

Has anyone stayed at any love hotels like Hotel Plaza Arteaga or Hotel Washington recently? I did RTFF and I haven't seen a report on or including any love hotel in a while. LovesToSploog had a report back in February which included Arteaga. I'm really considering using a love hotel next time I go to Monterrey so I don't have to deal with any hassle from the front desk bringing girls into my regular hotel. I used one in Mexico City, V Motel Boutique Viaducto, since Barcelo Mexico Reforma stopped a girl and I as we were coming up (also charged me 1200 pesos for the additional girl) and that love hotel was a good experience. It was clean, had good customer service, a safe location, and English speaking staff. Ideally, I'd like something like that for Monterrey. I like how Arteaga allows you to book via a major hotel booking website, which makes it easier. Hotel Washington on the other hand supposedly assigns rooms upon arrival and its location looks a bit rough. However, Hotel Washington looks like a nicer hotel judging from its photos. So I wonder if Regio Scorts or Gigi's will be more inclined to send girls there than the much more affordably priced Arteaga.

I actually considered Motel Love before, because the rooms look really nice in the online photos. I didn't move forward however since I didn't see any reports on this forum.

They're all on the rough side but Arteaga is always my go to. Plus you can go to other motels with Uber.

After many years of regular trips to Guadalajara, work is finally sending me to Monterrey next week. I wish they'd chosen a slightly cooler time of year, but I'm still happy to see some place new. I've regularly enjoyed the scene in GDL but I've been very focused on agencies, and a few independents strongly recommended on the local forum. It seems like agencies aren't as important in Monterrey (and from what I've seen they're a bit more expensive) and I haven't found an equivalent to the local forum. Anybody have any recommendations where to start? I haven't always had great experiences with Twitter and Mileroticos other places, but people seem to be finding lots of chicas that way, so maybe that's the way to go? My Spanish isn't always pretty but is pretty functional. I'm staying at Krystal.

Since you are going for work then you are saving some costs in lodging and food, but for everything else there is nothing cheap about MTY. There are many better choices in Mexico now. CDMX is 25-40% cheaper, way better food, better weather, (minus the rain), and lots of single girl's that are looking for foreign guys.

As I have said many times there lots of hot girls running around San Pedro, but a large percentage are not willing to go out with foreigners or just not available. Depending what happens with the economy maybe this will change, but for the moment I would go to other destinations.

You find your chica then go down stairs and pick your stall. No doors or curtains, you will be banging your chica then look to the left or right and you will be seeing other chicas taking a dick, it can be shady but I have never had a problem and have had some amazing action for under $80 including cover and a few beers. For 2 great Monterrey dining experiences I recommend Indio Azteca (truly old school) or Cabrito del Rey for some fantastic goat.

I stayed at a cheap (er) hotel on the same block a year and a half ago. Masaje Cleops was okay, but a 100% male management, which is a turn off for me. The hotel I stayed in was 100% full of Venezuelan migrants and I had several very illuminating and interesting conversations with them.

Not sure what went wrong. Anyway, this will be sort of the short version.

First of all, thank you to those who offered advice. It was much appreciated! And the recommendation of Cleops was spot on (more on that in a moment).

I got in Sunday intending to use what I had of a weekend to hit Cleops, but unfortunately, Cleops isn't open on Sundays. Actually the hours weren't very compatible with having to work, since they were closed by 6 pm, which was a serious bummer. I sent a message to some Twitter chica who didn't get back to me, and thought about looking for an escort when I discovered Samara was open. I'd seen multiple references here on the forum so I thought I'd go check it out. Went to the Arteaga location first. One girl there (she said there were a few others, but they were busy). I'm sure she's a lovely girl with a great personality and all, but I'm just not that hard up. So I went a few blocks away to the other location, and there were two girls there. Both upgrades from the first one, but not really up to my usual standards. I think sometimes you get the idea of getting your dick sucked stuck in your head and it's hard to give that up. Krystal Hotel was a little disappointing. The room was pretty worn, the couch was stained, the desk had a bunch of gouges in it, the shower shot a jet onto the toilet if you opened the door with the shower on, and most importantly the internet cut out completely every few minutes which meant that I couldn't do any online meetings from my room. I wound up taking a couple from the Starbucks around the corner. Other than it wasn't terrible, and the bed was comfortable, but if work is paying I can probably do better.

Or if there are any you recommend for a good location, nice room, no drama with reception.
