" To be fair, of the three people I'm thinking of regarding misinformation he's the least outlandish of them all. (I'm not even counting your two elder countrymen. While it sets a low bar, he consistently gets it right that German authorities have recently been extending restrictions perhaps a bit too conservatively.

Things he has been proven wrong:

-Unlike other vaccinated diseases, covid is too fast mutating to vaccinate. It's amongst the slower ones.

-Hot temperatures will cause less spread and we're all doomed when it's cold again. Not entirely disproved but the heat in Brazil, India, and Turkey suggests that temperature is not the ultimate predictor.

-Masks don't work. More careful analysis of his Dakotas comparison shows that simple masks has significant effects on transmission reduction.
