- They are exposed to more potentially sick people than the average joe for a much longer period, which means they are exposed to high and prolonged viral sources / charges (eventhough protocols are meant to lower that issue if they always respect the protocols).

- While the average joe won't be a huge loss if he's just sick a week or two at home but hospitalised and even less killed if recieved any vaccine, 100's of medical workers being sick and away for 1 or 2 weeks is a much bigger issue when medical personnel is already lacking to face the wave. Hence why giving them a mRNA booster shot is a smart thing.

The nurse double-checked all paperwork and made sure of your identity once that was done vaccine was given quickly didn't even feel the pinch-handed paperwork back told to walk around the corner to drop paperwork off then told to take a seat in the resting area for 30 minutes until your name is called.

After 30 minutes your name was called BP again new paperwork was handed back with PFIZER given and next appointment for 2nd doses in 3 weeks. The entire process took less than one hour got my morning coffee Starbucks in the lobby when done since it was starting to rain a bit caught a taxi back to Ekaimai meter 55 baht, another 140 baht and I was back in the Van headed back to Pattaya, funny the driver and his wife who drove me in took me back arrived back 12:30 pm LOL.

So far only a sore arm?

You must have received 1 of the 150,000 Pfizer does donated by the US government that were set aside for foreigners.

I got both my Pfizer shots in the US. First one did not feel a thing. Second shot got muscle pains for about 12 hours, not too bad though. I am in mid 40's reasonably fit.

For the record I am not from the US but was very grateful to receive their free jabs on the way through to Europe in May.

Up until August 1st, I never pay too much attention to any of the pre-registrations or putting down deposits for vaccines particularly for the Pfizer or Moderna. I had the opportunity for the Sino and AZ a month ago but wasn't going to pay for the AZ.

And that their email system currently was down.

I'm not sure if they have filled their quota but I wrote on another forum my experience another poster contacted me and ask how? Thailand has plenty of money to buy those vaccines themselves. Thailand is also manufacturing vaccine in Thailand, but from what I understand they are selling most of that outside of Thailand for a profit rather than administering it to Thais.

Israel says the Pfizer efficacy is gone after 6 months so then its back to normal covid numbers.
