Clean and relatively safe with lots of hot chicas walking around LOL! From there, I could go anywhere I wanted to in the city or area, then return to the comfort and safety of home base.

What probably happened was that you were quoted the real Cilalis versus a generic which should of been substantially less.

Just shop around, ask to see the expiration date, fecha de vencimento on the box, and talk with the people in the pharmacy.

Nothing wrong with the generics, and I have never heard of fake ED drugs being sold in a Colombian pharmacy, especially in the chain pharmacies, so I wouldn't be concerned about that.

[/QUOTE]Not sure, but you can buy 2 pills of Sildenafil 100 MG for 7. 500 from pharmacies in El Centro. It works just as well for me, and a fraction of the price. I only use half each time.

The strip of bars / clubs with Conejitas etc is fine in the day and night. Also worth noting that Mercado de La Playa is also quite a cool place at night. Plaza with about 20-30 restaurants and bars. And full of normal people. Its on La Playa - 10 min walk from Botero area. 5 k in a taxi.

As for passing as a local, we have had this discussion 100's of times and I think it is total garbage. Hehe. Every local will tell you a story of them being mugged in Centro. Its exactly the same risk to them. Muggers look for easy targets. That's all there is to it. Being a foeigner or being local doesn't come in to their thinking.

The easier targets for them are the foreigners hand down because they are not locals, probably won't have a knife on them and will be more reluctant not to put up a fight, and are known to have more things of value on them in terms of cash and other items of value on them than the locals.

So put yourself in a muggers shoes. Two men of the same size are walking on a deserted street. One on one side of the street is local, and on the other side is an obvious foreigner. So you don't think that will factor into a muggers decision as to which one to jack up.

I'm not disagreeing with the premise that everyone is at risk whether a local or a foreigner, but just am saying that the smarter muggers will be selective if and when they have the opportunity.

As far as passing as a local, well it does make a difference in many ways, especially in El Centro.

You have to ask yourself whether you would rather not stick out like a sore thumb with everyone checking you out and looking at you, versus nobody giving you a second look.

For some guys in Centro who are obvious foreigners, they garner a lot of attention with the Chicas as they like the attention.

While there are other foreigners, albeit a few, who can pass as a Colombian looks / dress wise who want no attention at all, and would rather be flying under the radar with now one paying attention to them.

All kidding aside, I wish I had a better knowledge of the language, and grapple at times, like most of the time, but typically can get my point across. I struggle when people speak quickly, or have a an accent.

As an example, I remember being in Glasgow England and swore the people weren't speaking English but they were.

When I first moved to Medellin, I shopped at different pharmacies all over downtown. I found widely varying prices for generic sildenafil.

Then I tried Drogas Calidad, CL 54 # 47-29, near Parque Bolivar, have never shopped anywhere else since. Two 50 MG generic chewable sildenafil of brand AG cost 2. 000 pesos. I usually buy 20 boxes at a time. They also deliver free to anywhere in the city in 2-4 hours.

Don't know about other drugs, but there is always a line. Best time to shop is early in morning.

Perhaps one of you seasoned mongers may be able to offer some advice!

I began frequenting FKK clubs in Germany back in 2013. More specifically 'Sharks and Oase'.

At that time I was spoilt with the selection of Colombian and Brazilian ladies who were blessed with amazing bubble butts!

Sadly with the new government work visa situation there are no longer any of these ladies.

If I were to travel to Colombia could anyone recommend any club or specific ladies who possess a heavenly bubble butt!!

[/QUOTE]I would love to see some stats of crime against foreigners vs crime against locals, but I do not suspect foreigners are at more risk at all. Yes perhaps foreigners are less likely to carry knives than some locals, but what % of locals carry knives? I would guess not many. And there are a bunch of other factors that a would criminal will look for in an easy target. How many people are around, time of day, size (foreigners are usually much bigger), sex (females are weaker), age (old folk that are not so agile are easier). Plus I am sure there are many others. Maybe I will ask some the next tme I am in Manrique. Hehe. As for valuables. Foreigners have lots of cards and gandgets that criminals don't know how to use. They would much prefer to steal sutff they are familiar with.

Also worth noting that often times the criminals have a pre-planned hit. So it doesnt matter who is around. The hit goes ahead if they deem it passable.

Yes, I am one of those that wander around looking like a foreigner. There is no way I can hide it. I feel like a baskball player walkin g around Lilliput when I am in Colombia, so these days I just wear t-shirts, shorts and flip flops (but only when in Centro). Iget lots of looks, but most are from the public which is a good security factor!

I punch in one English word into my phone and ask them to pronounce it. That word is "Heightened."

Although there's seldom any criticism or confusion and I'm talking with at least a few girls every day.
