Contrary to what other posters may think, lots of the girls carry knives, and fighting over basically $ 3 USD is not worth it, albeit some posters may say you should of not caved in, however your at a disadvantage being a foreigner, especially in the cheaper Hotels which aren't frequented as much by foreigners, versus Hotels like the Premium Plaza or Zona Rosa which cost almost double on the Church side.

I am assuming it was a Colombian you pulled, versus a Venezuelan, who would be less likely to renege on what was agreed to.

As far as negotiating money after the deed, well that's the last thing you should be doing, as I guarantee you, you will be setting yourself for a mis-understanding.

I don't know what your Spanish speaking level is, but you should re-iterate before entering the Hotel that you always pay afterwards and not before, and make them confirm that along with what your going to pay, and whether the BJ is totally uncovered.

As far as the Hotel, it's best to always pay for the room versus them paying for it.

And you should be choosing the Hotel, instead of them directing where to go, as they invariably are getting a kickback.

If they refuse to go where you want to go, pass on them, another red flag.

Actually the best time to be in Centro is bewteen 4 and 6 PM as basically there is a shift change and the girls that work days are leaving at dark and girls that work evenings till around 8 PM are arriving.

As far as the guy that hassled you, well sometimes they can be a pain to deal with, and hard to shake loose but goes with the territory there so you just have to get used to it.

Lots of guys have problems in Centro for many reasons, yet you have no problem getting down and dirty in the cheap Love motels which most guys would cringe at, so just keep going and you will become more comfortable with what goes on there, along with how to better screen and vet the girls there, along with dealing with the "mendigos" beggars and others who might pester you.
