If I mention a partner of mine, people will assume I am gay, when partner to me simply means good friend and not someone I am romantically involved with. When I was growing up a fuck boy was a guy with no spine that people could boss around. Today fuck boy means a guy that fucks a lot of women. Then we have there, their, they're and four, for, fore, and it seems many native English speakers can't even discern when to use then or than.
