I'll be in Medellin for a week Nov 20-27. I am staying at an Airbnb in El Centro. I was planning to only hit the casas due to safety but after reading Gabachos posts I'm planning to hit up El Centro and Plaza Botero.
Background info: Darker skin Mexican American male who is fluent in Spanish.
Have done the German FKKs, Tijuana Zona Norte and Sosua DR.

Unfortunately I won't be there while your there because I have work obligations, but I plan on coming back in December or January. Best times to go to Centro are between 4 pm to 8 pm. And Saturdays tends to have the highest amount of chicas whereas Sundays were the slowest days. I stayed at Hotel Calle Real on calle 51 (near the church) while I was there this last time. While the hotel isn't the best, it was cheap and close to the action. Hope you have a great trip bro.

The solution to the girls who don't respond to your messages immediately is easy. Send a few messages a week or two in advance. The mistake some make is to send a message and expect the girl to show up on short notice. I normally will hit up the girl I want sometime late afternoon. I'll find out if she's available and when she can get to my place. If she says 7 pm, I'll expect her around 7:30.
If you're planning on returning regularly to Medellin I don't recommend booking multiple girls for the same time. If more than 1 shows up, you can have problems. If 1 or more is already in a taxi when you start cancelling, the word will spread about you and you'll have trouble getting anyone to come over.

You do not have them come at the exact same time. You tell them that you want to see them at such and such time. Then whoever is on the way first you give the address to. You don't give all the chicks the address and tell them all to show up at 6 pm. Who would do that?

I am considering the trip in December (this would be my first time in Colombia). The trip would be with a small group of friends (men and women) in mid-fifties, with very limited Spanish.
Felt super safe in Peru (Lima and elsewhere), but I am concerned about the reports of violent vibe lately, due to Covid. This would not be just "mongering" trip, we would like to stay in Laurels, eat in nice cafes / restaurants, just walk around.
Alternative is Buenos Aires (Argentina just opened up) - much safer but hot and humid in December.
Are those reports of robberies, etc. Valid? The idea was to spend 5-6 day in Bogota and Medellin each.
Please, let me know what you guys think.

Also reported by many, and it's happened to me, lots of girls will tell you they are in the taxi and on the way when they haven't started getting ready yet.
That's why I find out from them what time is good for them first. It doesn't do me any good to set up with a girl for 6 pm when her mother won't be home to watch her kids until 7:30. If I tell her 6 pm, chances are she'll agree, knowing there's no way she can arrive before 8 pm. If instead I ask, I can either set up 8 pm with her, or I can tell her that we can do a different day, if I want something earlier. Just makes things much simpler for everyone when you recognize everyone else has shit going on too and they can't just show up on short notice.
