I stayed 5 days in Poblado in a decent hotel that charged extra $120 from what I was quoted at [URL]booking.com[/URL] during check out. I didn't have time to argue with them as I was rushing to airport. They played just dumb and wouldn't communicate further. In fact I am surprised that big hotels don't employee who can sleep at least little English. Now, I am disputing the extra charge but not holding my breath.

Some of them wanted taxi to be added, some wanted 200 that includes taxi, only handful wanted 200 plus taxi. One wanted 250, another one wanted 500. So majority of them I was able to see for 150+30 k for taxi.

I found that those who did not mention taxi money during price negotiations brought it up when they hire taxi. They called me at the last minute thagt they do not have money for taxi. They are already late for the timeslot, and they are forcing me to negotiate the taxi money. After such experiences, I made sure taxi money is negotiated up front and who will bear it.

Another thing that was a discovery for me was time they choose to arrive. If you set the appointment at 1 pm, they are suppose to arrive by 1 pm, which mean they must leave their home much earlier. But typically, they would leave their home at 1 pm, and traffic in medellin what it is, they will arrive by 1:30 pm or 2 pm, screwing up your rest of the day's plans, None of the girls I saw came on time. They all were late by 30 min-45 min, and some came late for more than an hour. It is the way outcalls work in medellin and you have to roll with it.

Most of them took shower before and after, and 10-15 min of idle chat to warm for sex. So I made sure to communicate that our appointment would be for 90 min. Without such agreement upfront, they might leave after one hour, and you would not get full hour of sex. If any sexual act is important to you. Make sure you mention it when price is negotiated and agreed.

Overall, I found that girls were friendly, not pushy, did not rush. Their looks were average girl-next-door type, not glossy as their pictures lead you to believe. Only 4 out 15 I could say they were 8. Rest were 7 or 6. But none had fake tits or plastic ass. I liked them better then casa and prepago girls.

I also went to the casas and did not like the quality nor mechanical aspects of it and unwillingness to do certain things and would not go back to them. Good restaurants for a proper evening meal don't exist anywhere near there. As for quality hotels in Centro, Botero area: also non-existent. Yes, there's hotels, but each one is bad as the next.

There is a barrio called Manila in Poblado which basically is a restaurant district just across the Exito on Calle 10 a five minute walk from the Poblado Metro station and you don't need to ride a taxi there. Another option is to get off at the Industrailes station before the Poblado staion and there are several places to eat there as well. The nice part being that the Metro is so close to the Hotel Nutibarra.
