But since you asked, let me try to give what I have learnt by reading and heard in from my doc friends.
First the girl has to be very very clean. That's the primary requirement. If she is not your gf and if she sees many men, then that can be a major issue on cleanliness part alone.

not sure if this is due to the demand vs supply or due to the huge tips provided by fellow mongers, the money that mps are quoting have all become sky high. just before a year or so, used to get 1000- package for body / head massage and facial and extra 300 for extras. now days no one comes for a package less than 2k!

That completely sucks, this happened to me once about 2 years back. Good old Bait and Switch. For me it was also a cragslist contact but area was near Velachary.
I am rather a regular for normal massages and there is definitely an increase in prices but could be because of summer and the demand has shot up. Also quality of massages have gotten horrible, I went to a a massage palour in a mall in Vadapalani and my body pain only got worse!

The MP as well as mongering scene is dry as like our summer. I dunno whether LE is charging too much for protection due to election or supplies are low. I think all due to newbie mongers who don't even negotiate. Back used to be days when I used to bargain hard. The receptionist used to quote prices like 2k but I say like the "price is too much, too costly". I also talk comparatively to 'them like "I went to another MP nearby, they charge less than you & I go to them if you don't reconsider your prices" like that. Bargaining is an art when it comes to mongering and I think the new players here who get contacts don't even bargain. Trust me, Once I called an MP, they charged like 2k for entry + tips. I negotiated for 1.5k. This happened a long back, Went into the massage room. The masseur came and started the massage. The massage was for 60 mins and the 15th she asked whether I want extras. I said yeah and she said 1k for TL + HJ. I then made expressions like OMG, and kept on telling the price is too high, no chance, kept on comparing with other MP's when she was massaging.
